Teach you step by step how to register a US trademark yourself

There are several main steps to successfully register a trademark. Generally, you will receive a receipt after submitting the application. The rest will take 8 weeks.

Step 1: Open the website:

Move the mouse to TRADEMARKs , and apply online will appear in the drop-down menu . Click

Step 2:

Next you will see that there are 3 types, the differences are as follows:

We select the first TEAS Plus form and click to proceed to the next step

Step 3:

Scroll down and see "is an...". This will ask if you are an agent. If you register yourself, select "NO" and click " continue".

Step 4:

All forms marked with * are required to be filled in

This place must be checked, and the validity of the email address must be ensured. All emails sent by USPTO in the future will be sent to this email address:

Step 5: Fill in the trademark

Click the checkbox below, and you will see detailed descriptions of your trademark that need to be filled in. In TEAS plus , the ones marked with * are

All fields must be filled in. The first field is mainly for the registration number that is similar to your trademark. The other fields are for describing your trademark.

If you need a trademark or logo , you need to pay attention to the color item (color does not need to be included)

Step 6:

Select the trademark category in USPTO and click

Step 7:

Select the category and fill in the four buttons under the column as appropriate.

The four buttons depend on whether your trademark has been put into commercial use. If you choose 1a, you need to prepare the products or trademarks that use the logo.

If you do not need to fill in the content under the above four buttons, just click continue

Step 8:

All fields marked with * must be filled in. After completing, click continue.

Step 9: Signature

, The signature format of the first file must be / name /, and the phone number is optional. Click continue

Step 10:

Confirm it, pay the money and it's done

After that, I just waited for the emails from USPTO.
