Vine green label function has been decentralized! Sellers are facing a shocking scam! ?

Amazon updated Vine's terms in the middle of this month. On the surface, the news did not reveal any changes, but only stated that the Vine terms were added to the "Program Terms" page.

Although this change is meaningless, the functions in the "optional plans" position are almost all for SC accounts, that is, ordinary sellers. Does Vine's change to this position now mean that it will be fully open to sellers?

Just after the implementation date (22nd) marked in the news, sellers and students in our group reported that there was a new Vine option under the Advertising menu in the backend! Vine, a service that the service provider has been promoting crazily, is now open to ordinary sellers!

◆ ◆ ◆ ◆

Is Vine really going to be open?

According to the feedback I have collected so far, there are not many sellers that have the Vine option, and for some people, even if they click on this Vine option, a prompt "You are not authorized and cannot access this page" will appear.

However, there are also many sellers who, after clicking into Vine, can follow the normal process to register products step by step and start sending them for testing.

The model of registering first, then deducting the registration fee after leaving a review is exactly the same as that of the early reviewers. Here, this seller shows a $0 registration fee, which may be because Amazon gives some preferential policies to the first batch of third-party SC accounts participating in V to encourage them to try this decentralized delivery function.

I also quickly looked for the backend policy and found that the update on the 22nd was not simply to move the Vine terms to another place. In fact, the service content has also changed. The key lies in this sentence

“To join the Vine program, you must be a Professional Seller”

In the past, only suppliers with VC and VE accounts could use Vine, but now any professional seller who has completed brand registration has the opportunity to use it!

What does this mean? With this officially approved beta program, we now have a channel to get reviews! Email review requests have been strictly investigated in the past two days, and may even be directly banned in the future. The release of Vine at this time is indeed a timely relief, and it is even a much more efficient channel for increasing reviews than email review requests.

but!!

As I was excitedly browsing the updated Vine terms, I was surprised to find something.

The Vine program now has a comment limit!!!

Products with more than 30 reviews cannot participate in the Vine program. If you participate, it will automatically end if you exceed 30 reviews! !

If you look closely, this limit is the same as the early reviewer program (limited to 5), but the number is much higher. With this limit, the value of the green label has dropped sharply. For large and medium-sized sellers, it is not difficult to have hundreds of reviews for mature products. These products cannot further increase the number of reviews through Vine.

Now the value of the Vine program lies in helping small sellers increase the number of reviews during their growth period, or in the fact that large and medium-sized sellers can use it when launching new products. Although its value is reduced, it is still a very useful feature during the transition period.

But I think what is more terrifying is the following situation.

You should know that even now, there are still many service providers taking orders from Vine. I believe everyone must have been harassed by such an overwhelming circle of friends.

This is a screenshot I just took today. If the 30 restrictions of the Vine program are not only for SC accounts, but all sellers participating in the Vine program, including VC accounts, must follow this restriction, then it will be very dangerous for sellers to find service providers to get the green label during this period.

The backend policy does not specify whether the 30 restrictions are for SC sellers or all sellers. Judging from the original text of the above clauses, it should be a restriction of the Vine program itself, that is, VC and SC are treated equally.

Recently many sellers in our group have said that there is no news about the green label. It is terrifying to think about it. We cannot rule out the possibility that some industry parasites will collect some money and run away.

Therefore, you must pay attention to those green-labeled services recently. Think about whether you can accept the outcome of spending money down the drain. Keep your eyes open when choosing a service provider and be cautious. It is best not to come across green-labeled services during this period.

Amazon will gradually open Vine to more ordinary accounts. It is now being tested on a large scale and I believe this process will not take too long.

Amazon has also released the specific conditions for participating in the Vine program in the background. In addition to professional sellers and fewer than 30 reviews, there are many other requirements. For a detailed list of requirements, please scan the QR code below to contact me.

Remember! Pay attention to the green label service of the service provider!

PS. Students who need to join our seller communication group can also scan and private message me to add you to the group
