The annual Prime Day is approaching, and many sellers are busy preparing for it. However, a freight forwarder recently issued a notice that the German Amazon DTM2 warehouse is currently overflowing, and other warehouses may also overflow in the next week, causing packages to be unable to be delivered and returned.

According to the notice, this situation will last for about a week, and the delivery of goods for some sellers may be affected.

Looking back at recent times, the epidemic has continued to resurge at home and abroad, coupled with factors such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the supply chain crisis, cross-border logistics has been impacted to a certain extent, and many sellers are facing the test of delivery delays.

Not only that, logistics incidents have occurred frequently recently, such as freight forwarding errors leading to lost items, customs inspections, etc., and some sellers have been linked to multiple accounts for no reason, and the blame seems to be directed at overseas warehouses.

The four sellers’ accounts are strangely linked, perhaps related to overseas warehouses?

We learned that a seller posted a message for help on the forum. His account was inexplicably linked to an unfamiliar account. After a store inspection, the report initially determined that the account was linked to the registered mobile phone number. However, the seller's registered mobile phone number had not undergone any operations, so it was suspected that Amazon had misjudged the account.

However, a seller soon contacted the poster and said that he was also associated with product X from the account, and then two other sellers experienced the same situation.

After investigation, it was found that the common point of these sellers was that they used the same overseas warehouse. Later, it was learned through the overseas warehouse that their commonly associated account X also used the overseas warehouse. Currently, account X has been closed by Amazon.

The seller judged that it was probably because the overseas warehouse and phone number were filled in the backend shipping address, which led to Amazon determining it as related. But so many sellers are using overseas warehouses, why are they the only ones with problems?

In desperation, the seller contacted the service provider based on this clue to file a complaint. However, even after providing the overseas warehouse cooperation contract, it was still rejected and Amazon suspected that it was forged.

In response to this, some sellers said that using the same overseas warehouse address may lead to weak association, while some sellers said that it was caused by duplication of phone numbers and email addresses left in overseas warehouses.

However, generally speaking, many cross-border companies share an overseas warehouse, and there has never been a case in which two companies were found to be related due to the same overseas warehouse address. Therefore, it seems that the mystery of this connection is still full of doubts.

In fact, Amazon has also had many cases of misjudgment of associations before, and a large number of sellers’ stores were blocked due to inexplicable associations with unfamiliar accounts. Under Amazon’s strict measures, it is not uncommon for sellers to be innocently caught.

In general, it is still too early to draw a conclusion whether the misjudgment of association is caused by the same overseas warehouse address. However, there have been many logistics crashes in recent times, and sellers still need to be cautious when choosing logistics and freight to avoid pitfalls.

Logistics companies collapsed one after another, and sellers suffered heavy losses!

Not long ago, it was reported that a Shenzhen logistics company's overseas warehouse in Japan was reported by its peers for under-declaration, and the Japanese customs inspected 400 containers, involving an amount of nearly 100 million yuan.

Recently, it was reported that the daily operation department of a logistics company suffered heavy losses because the containers were inspected by Japanese customs due to operational errors by relevant responsible personnel.

As we all know, the logistics customs clearance process is strict, and some logistics companies often conceal, fail to report, mismatch the goods, and perform improper operations, resulting in the inspection of goods.

A seller revealed that a logistics company in Shenzhen promised to make a low declaration when transporting his goods. As a result, all three shipments of the seller were inspected by customs. Now his goods have been stuck for more than half a month, and the tax alone for goods worth 100,000 yuan is 20,000 yuan.

Another seller reported that in a shipment he had shipped through a freight forwarding company in Shenzhen in September last year, there were 14 boxes that had no UPS pick-up record. However, the company kept shirking responsibility and has not yet provided compensation.

It is reported that the logistics company does not have its own warehouse and will use whichever channel offers the lowest price. When searching for relevant information about the company through Tianyancha, it was found that it was involved in multiple lawsuits.

At present, the freight forwarding industry is full of mixed bag of people, with many scams, and sellers often accidentally step on landmines, which affects the delivery of goods. Therefore, sellers also need to fully understand the strength and scale of logistics companies when negotiating cooperation, consider their business capabilities, ensure the other party's understanding of each route and real-time dynamic updates, and in addition, they need to be constrained in the contract and clarify the safety clauses.
