Development History

In March 2016, the reorganization and integration of the headquarters of COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd. was completed. The headquarters is located in Shanghai Ocean Building and has 26 departments.

On November 18, 2016, "COSCO Container Lines Co., Ltd." was officially changed to "COSCO SHIPPING Container Lines Co., Ltd."

On January 18, 2017, the second 9,400TEU container ship COSCO SHIPPING Volga ordered by the company was named and delivered at Shanghai Jiangnan Changxing Shipyard Co., Ltd.

On August 18, 2019, COSCO SHIPPING Lines started to switch to the IRIS4 system starting from the Australian route.

On September 23, 2019, Dell (China) and COSCO SHIPPING Lines signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Shanghai.
