How to find keywords suitable for your products

How to find keywords suitable for your products

When optimizing listings, many sellers are confused and don't know where to start. Although they have heard many articles about optimization, they are still unclear about what is a good standard when actually doing it. While reflecting keywords in the title, it is best to separate each selling point from the keywords and use symbols to separate long sentences into short sentences.

Short sentences make it easy to read without any pressure. Compared with some sellers who use long sentences to name product titles, short sentences are easier to read and can deepen buyers' understanding and feelings about the product.

Another important element of Amazon product listings is pictures. The image experience largely determines whether customers will continue to browse. Relying on text stories alone is not enough to convince customers. We need to convey information through pictures and add text descriptions so that customers can see and remember.

1. Amazon search box : Use the Amazon search box to collect Amazon recommended keywords and related keywords. Use these keywords to continue searching in the search box, and you will get more related keywords. Repeat this process, and eventually you will get a lot of keywords. Then filter through the front-end test, leaving the keywords related to your product, and put the most relevant keywords at the top.

2. Competitors: Look for products that rank high among similar products. Their listings are more valuable for reference. Generally speaking, the core keywords of these products appear in the titles and important attribute words. Use keyword tools to filter out keywords that match your products. You can also find related keywords in their BULLET POINTS, A+ pages, and Q&A. In addition, you can also pay attention to competitor reviews to find out keywords that appear more frequently, as well as find out different expressions of core keywords. These keywords usually conform to the search habits of local people.

3. Other platforms such as eBay and AliExpress: Searching on other platforms such as eBay and AliExpress will get some related keyword recommendations. The search results of these platforms will show many related keywords, and you can refer to the keywords that are highly relevant to your products.

4. Keyword mining:

  • Subcategory name: On the Amazon platform, each product has its own small and large categories. The subcategory name can be regarded as the main broad word of the product.

  • Brand analysis and ASIN reverse query: For brand sellers that have been registered on Amazon, you can use the brand analysis tool for analysis. The data of this tool comes from the Amazon platform and is highly credible. For the top-ranked seller of gravity blankets, you can reverse query the keywords of the ASIN to find broad words with high search frequency.

  • Competitor titles: Excellent competitors are often the best teachers. Usually, the first 5 words of the competitor's product title will contain broad words for the product. Check the titles of best-selling products to find some broad words.

  • Advertisement report: Advertisement report is a very reliable channel. Through the ad report, you can see which keywords customers clicked on your products, and you can also obtain other relevant data, which is the exclusive secret of each operator.

  1. 5. Pay-per-click advertising: Amazon will recommend many keywords, including some highly exposed and popular keywords. You can use these keywords in your listing.

  2. 6. Local e-commerce platforms in various countries: In addition to Amazon, there are many local e-commerce platforms in various countries. You can search these platforms when you have time to find out what other sellers are selling. Use the search box to search for popular keywords and collect them to reference your own listings. Please pay attention to appropriate rewriting and translation.
