Delhivery is an e-commerce logistics service provider in India, dedicated to providing logistics services to local e-commerce, physical merchants and enterprises in India. Its business covers last-mile delivery, third-party and cross-border warehousing, reverse logistics, payment collection, maritime freight and other aspects.



About Delhivery


Delhivery was founded in 2011 and provides full-chain e-commerce logistics services from warehousing, trunk transportation to last-mile delivery for major e-commerce platforms and more than 100,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in India. The company adopts a fully direct-operated network, and its logistics service network currently covers more than 1,700 cities in India. In addition to providing e-commerce express delivery services, Delhivery also provides other logistics services such as express delivery, takeaway services, heavy goods transportation, cross-border services, etc. to Indian brands and small and medium-sized enterprises.


At present, the Delhivery team has successfully completed more than 340 million orders. Delhivery has established 19 automatic sorting centers, 30 logistics centers, 44 centers, 2500+ direct distribution centers, 5000+ partner centers, more than 14,000 vehicles and more than 21,000 team members.

-In May 2011, Delhivery was established in Delhivere.


-In June 2011, Delhivery launched express logistics services in Delhi NCR.


-In April 2012, Delhivery received US$1.5 million in Series A funding led by Times Internet Limited.


-In August 2012, Delhivery received US$1.5 million in Series A funding.


-In 2012, Delhivery launched its fulfilment service in Delhi and Chennai, with a warehouse of over 10,000 square feet and a team size of 1,000+.


-In September 2013, Delhivery received US$6 million in Series B funding from Times Internet Limited and Nexus Venture Partners.


-In 2013, Delhivery's logistics services expanded to more than 130 cities, with a team size of 2,500+.


-In September 2014, Delhivery received US$35 million in Series C funding, with participation from existing investors Times Internet Limited and Nexus Venture Partners.


-In 2014, Delhivery's express logistics services expanded to 175 cities in India, and the team size grew to 5,000+.


-In April 2015, Delhivery received a US$85 million Series D funding led by Tiger Global Management, with participation from Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Nexus Venture Partners and Times Internet.


-In 2015, Delhivery's express logistics services expanded to 350 cities, with 16 distribution centers with 1 million square feet of warehousing.


-In 2016, Delhivery had 3,000+ customers, including 150 of India's largest offline brands; introduced freight services using trucks.


-In March 2017, Shanghai Mingying Information Technology Co., Ltd. invested USD 100 million in Delhivery.


-In May 2017, Delhivery announced that it had received a financing of 2 billion Indian rupees (about 30 million US dollars) from China's Fosun International Group.


-In 2017, Delhivery's express logistics services expanded to 1,200 cities, with 24 distribution centers and more than 1 million square feet of warehousing space, and the team size expanded to 15,000+.


-In 2018, Delhivery reached 250 million deliveries and counting shipments, operated more than 30 warehousing centers in 12 cities, and had a team size of 21,000+.


-In March 2019, Delhivery completed a $413 million Series F financing round from SoftBank, Carlyle Group and Fosun Group. After this round of financing, it became a unicorn company in the logistics field with a valuation of approximately $1.5 billion.
