In the past two days, Amazon released 5 new features at once. As the peak season is approaching, if used well, these features can help sellers increase their order volume, and they are free!

Amazon automatically optimizes product titles

Amazon has launched a feature that automatically optimizes product titles. In the past, when buyers were shopping, they had to search through a bunch of products listed on Amazon to find what they wanted.


Now Amazon has changed its strategy and started to actively cater to the needs of buyers, making personalized category recommendations on its website and app, and displaying product titles based on customer preferences to promote transactions.


Specifically, Amazon will review each user's shopping preferences and make personalized recommendations on the platform homepage and throughout the shopping process. It will no longer provide customers with "more similar products", but will provide more specific suggestions based on their shopping activities.



For example, if customers frequently search for "Mother's Day gift boxes" or if gluten-free is frequently searched, product AI will add the word "gluten-free" to the relevant product descriptions to ensure that it is highlighted. In this way, buyers can more easily find products that meet their needs and sellers can receive more orders.

Launched AI personal seller assistant Amelia

As you know, the daily work of sellers is very tedious. On September 19, Amazon announced that it would assign a sales assistant to each seller. The beta version of Amelia has begun testing. Initially, it will be aimed at third-party sellers in the United States. In the next few weeks, it will be gradually promoted to more people and will be launched in other countries later this year .


This is the assistant positioning set up by Amazon using a large amount of platform information. Sales experts can provide sellers with the answers, suggestions and tools they need. Currently, it is mainly focused on improving efficiency and solving problems. In the future, it will not only be able to talk to sellers and predict demand, but will even be able to solve problems on behalf of sellers.



Project Amelia's functions are manifested in three aspects:


  • Knowledge Questions Answered

Sellers ask questions, and assistants summarize information from Seller Central and other authoritative channels and then respond.


  • Sales and Business Metrics for Sellers

You can quickly retrieve sales data and traffic. For example, if you ask "How is business?", the assistant will provide recent sales, traffic, etc. and compare them with the previous year.


  • Answer and solve complex problems

This feature is coming soon, and the assistant can diagnose the problem and take action on the seller's behalf. For example, if the seller asks about lost goods, the assistant can investigate the problem and contact support for the seller.

AI automatically creates brand storylines

On Amazon, brands can bring sellers a 20% sales increase through A+ content, but many Chinese sellers are not good at storytelling and creating content, which often leads to poor operations.


But now, sellers can use AI to simplify the production of A+ content. By inputting the product selling points they want to express, such as "high-quality leather" and "suitable for various scenarios", good narrative content will be generated. Uploading product pictures can also produce different product application scenario pictures.



Small sellers can also create high-quality branded content. This tool is free and is already open to brand owners in the United States.

Generative AI creates listings

This feature was launched last year. With this feature, sellers only need to enter text to generate the listing title, product introduction, and five-point description, which greatly helps sellers improve the efficiency of listing creation.

This year, Amazon upgraded the original function and added two new ways to generate listings: pictures and URL links. Submitting product pictures can generate titles, product introductions, five-point descriptions, etc.; entering the URL of an external website can generate an Amazon-formatted listing from the product details page of the external website.


However, sellers must pay attention to two points when using this tool:


First, before the listing is officially released, sellers need to carefully check and preview it. AI will not filter out sensitive words and banned words, and it is very easy to affect performance without screening.


The second is the minority language site, where sellers need to enter the local language or upload pictures to generate listings in a minority language, such as German.

AI video generator

This section currently has two major landing functions. It only requires a single product picture and can be customized based on the product's unique selling proposition and functional planning to create visually rich video content in a few minutes, and it is free of charge.



Next is a new live image feature, Live Image, which is part of the Image generator and allows sellers to quickly create short animated campaign images.


Currently, this feature is only being tested with some US advertisers, and will be gradually fine-tuned before being released to a wider range.
