Walmart has partnered with Adobe to integrate Walmart's marketplace, online and in-store execution, and pickup technology with Adobe Commerce. Through the Adobe Commerce platform, small and medium-sized retailers in the United States can improve customer experience, that is, retailers can reach new customers and use Walmart's technology to provide their customers with "online consumption + offline pickup" services.


Suresh Kumar, chief technology officer of Walmart, said that Walmart's scanning and checkout technology, AI-driven replacement, and "online purchase + offline pickup" services are all designed to help customers save money. Combining Adobe's business experience advantages with Walmart's comprehensive customer expertise can accelerate the digital transformation of retail companies.

According to Adobe and market research firm IDC, the market value of the "online purchase + offline pickup" service is about $44 billion. Providing "online purchase + offline pickup" services to retailers and returning funds to Walmart is a new business created by Walmart.
