Facebook personal account maintenance tips, best practices for account settings

• Do not purchase individual accounts

• The name must be real

• Fill in your real date of birth and gender

• Use a regular personal email address to verify your account

• Do not use avatars that imitate a person or entity (such as a celebrity), or other avatars that misrepresent their identity, and do not use infringing images

• Do not keep creating new personal accounts. If a user has multiple FB accounts, the FB team will think that this is intentional opening of multiple fake accounts, which will lead to all accounts being blocked.

• Do not share accounts, including operating multiple accounts on the same computer, operating the same account on different computers, or having different colleagues operate the same account

Bind Business Manager and advertising accounts

Add the users who need to manage FB ads to the company's Business Management as soon as possible, and assign at least one active account to each user. If your company has not yet established a business management platform (BM), you can establish it through this link: business.facebook.com

Account information failed to pass system verification

• Name, birthday and profile picture must be from a real user

• Facebook requires users to use their real identities to communicate

* When expressing opinions and conducting activities with real names and credibility, FB community users will be more responsible for their actions. Therefore, FB requires users to maintain their personal homepages and not share accounts with friends and family. If it is found that a user has multiple personal homepages, FB may ask the user to close other personal homepages. In addition, FB will delete any personal homepage that impersonates someone else.

  The name contains any of the following

• Symbols, numbers, unusual capitalization, repeated characters, or punctuation. Multilingual mixed characters

• Various titles (e.g., expert, priest)

• Use a word, phrase or nickname as a middle name

• Various insulting or suggestive words

When setting your FB account name, please note the following points:

• Use a real name, which is how your friends call you in the real world and the name on the ID type that Facebook accepts

• A nickname can be used as a first or middle name if it is an alternative to the user's real name (for example: Bob instead of Robert)

• You can list aliases on your account (e.g. maiden name, nickname, professional name)

• Personal homepages are for personal use only, FB provides homepages for professionals, organizations and businesses

• No impersonation of anything or anyone else is allowed
