Big news! New changes have taken place in Amazon's delivery process!

The express delivery giant UPS will launch a nationwide strike! ! If a nationwide strike is truly launched, it may cause a major disruption in global logistics! It will become the most costly strike in U.S. history! !

The 10-day UPS strike caused nearly $7.1 billion in economic losses to the U.S. The last nationwide UPS strike was in 1997, during which UPS basically shut down all its operations in the U.S. and stopped delivering packages. Not only did UPS, the leading express delivery company at the time, lose $850 million, it also lost many customers.

As the saying goes, "Once bitten, one fears ropes for ten years." Until now, UPS is still irreplaceable in the United States. Now UPS employees are about to launch a nationwide large-scale strike. Not only is its partner Amazon afraid, but the United States itself is also nervous.

Since the beginning of this year, due to natural disasters, labor shortages, strikes, layoffs and other events, Amazon's popular warehouses have frequently experienced serious warehouse overflows and difficulties in warehousing. Many sellers have been caught in the dilemma of delivery delays or out-of-stock situations.

In order to ease the pressure on popular warehouses and shorten warehouse receiving time, Amazon has launched new features.

New changes in Amazon's shipping process

Recently, many sellers have discovered that a new feature has appeared in Amazon’s shipping process: recommended warehousing and standard warehousing options.

According to the introduction of this feature, by recommending the warehousing option, Amazon sellers will receive rebates on delivery fees and their goods will be received by the warehouse faster.

The rebate situation is that for sellers who choose and complete the Amazon Recommended Inbound Program option, the rebate money will be calculated during the shipment creation and displayed before the selection. Amazon will apply the rebate to the seller's goods after confirming that the receiving center has received the seller's goods. However, it is not used for the current batch of goods, but for the next batch.

Whenever you choose the Amazon recommended warehousing option, your products will definitely be assigned to a remote and less popular warehouse, which will increase the seller's first-mile costs. The rebate is also to compensate the seller.

Moreover, there is a certain threshold for participation. Not only do you have to choose the recommended warehousing option, but you also have to deliver it to the designated warehouse within 30 days. If you cannot deliver it, you cannot participate.
