It is understood that the increase in sales and popularity of sweatshirts on AliExpress may be related to the introduction of relevant policies of AliExpress in addition to the influence of weather factors. AliExpress adjusted the rules for clothing sellers in 2020. In order to reduce the rate of disputes filed for non-receipt of goods and ensure the quality of platform services, AliExpress issued an announcement stating that starting from October 29, 2020, it will be the first to include a 5-day online rate indicator in the search ranking mechanism under the clothing category. Stores with better online rate indicators can get higher search ranking weights on the AliExpress platform, while stores with poor indicator performance will be downgraded. In order to have a better search ranking, merchants have to take measures to improve their online rate. AliExpress can urge clothing sellers to improve consumer experience through this move. |
