Wayfair launches paid membership program Wayfair Rewards

It is learned that on October 22, according to foreign media reports, home furnishing e-commerce giant Wayfair announced the launch of a new loyalty program Wayfair Rewards with an annual fee of US$29.

It is understood that the program applies to all Wayfair brands and is currently only launched in the United States. Wayfair Chief Business Officer Jon Blotner said that the purpose of setting up this program is to provide value to customers through meaningful offers. Whether customers are doing large-scale renovations or simply buying home furnishings, the new program will combine a wide range of product catalogs to ensure a great shopping experience.

Customers who join Wayfair Rewards can enjoy a range of benefits:

  • 5% cash back on all purchases from Wayfair, its featured brands, and luxury brands

  • As long as you maintain your membership, the rewards will remain valid forever and can be used towards future purchases.

  • Exclusive members-only sale with deep discounts on all products including national brands

  • Get early access to Wayfair's major sales events, including Way Day

  • Free shipping on all items, no matter the size of your order

  • Priority customer service with dedicated lines for fast, high-quality service

  • Special offers and benefits, including birthday offers

With this move, Wayfair is trying to compete with membership programs of rivals such as Amazon Prime and Walmart+, which also offer services such as free shipping and exclusive discounts. Wayfair's membership program, which is more focused on the home furnishing market, is expected to attract more loyal customers and increase market share.
