I heard! Amazon may start paying for its warehouse space?
Recently, a seller heard that Amazon will allow paid purchase of storage capacity after January 10 , so he consulted a business manager about this matter and soon got a reply that "it will be announced on the 10th and implemented on March 1st." It also said that there will be an inventory bidding tool later.


The new storage capacity policy will begin around March this year, when Amazon will open up the purchase of storage capacity services. The official announcement time is January 10. The specific purchase method is uncertain, but it should be directly operated in the background, using a model similar to advertising bidding.

Regarding the new policy, several PPT contents have been leaked.

Information shows that after the policy change on March 1, only storage restrictions will be implemented. Factors taken into consideration include historical expected sales, inventory storage capacity and IP score. Only volume will be measured, and the calculation method is inventory in transit + inventory in stock, which will be updated monthly. If the limit is exceeded, excess storage fees will be charged and shipment creation will be stopped.
