More than 18,000 Temu baby carriers are urgently recalled for violating safety regulations

It is learned that the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of baby carriers sold by Sunkids Factory in Temu due to the risk of falling.

The recalled products are sling-style baby carriers with style numbers 0007-66 printed on the labels. These carriers are equipped with white plastic buckles, adjustable shoulder straps and mesh fabrics in green, gray and pink. The CPSC pointed out that this carrier violates federal safety regulations and does not meet the requirements for structural integrity and occupant fixation, posing a fall hazard to infants.

About 18,650 units of the product were sold in Temu between July 2023 and September 2024, with prices ranging from $7 to $15. No injuries have been reported to users.

The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the recalled carriers, cut them into pieces and email photos or contact Sunkids Factory at Temu.com for a full refund. Sunkids Factory is directly contacting all known purchasers.
