Amazon has been struggling with logistics and epidemic prevention supplies for some time, and has been unable to spare time to do other things. Last week, Amazon fully opened up replenishment rights to sellers, which means that Amazon's tight transportation capacity has been fully alleviated, and it has the energy to cause trouble for sellers. This afternoon, a large number of sellers suddenly received a warning letter from Amazon, stating that the sellers were suspected of purchasing reviews, and if this situation continues, their accounts will be directly suspended. As soon as this news came out, our seller group was instantly in an uproar! Many sellers came out to say that they had also received this message, and some sellers who did not fake orders but only used the review request function also received this warning letter. Many other sellers had not encountered fake orders for a long time, but they also did not escape this warning. Yes, now that Amazon has solved its urgent problem, it is now looking for trouble with us, and I want to make it clear to everyone that this is not a mass email. Many of our white hat students did not receive the email, and we ourselves did not receive any warnings. In other words, the sellers who received warning emails basically had some dark history that Amazon caught them with. Those who faked orders and reviews will definitely not be able to escape, and even the sellers who sent emails requesting reviews were caught. It’s not safe to ask for reviews now Although requesting reviews is an officially permitted operation, many sellers will overtly or covertly involve operations such as refunds in their review request emails, which is also "review manipulation behavior" that is explicitly prohibited by the authorities. Sellers who have not made fake orders but have received warnings recently should check whether their review request emails contain sensitive words. There should be no problem using the review request button in the backend order details, because sellers cannot customize the content of this function, and Amazon’s own review request will not involve sensitive words. Now many sellers are asking in our group, after being warned by Amazon, can they still fake orders? Some recent suggestions We have always been opposed to the large-scale fake orders. At best, fake orders can only be an auxiliary operational strategy. Once dependence is formed, it will reach a dead end, and Amazon will eventually settle the score one day. In fact, Amazon often conducts cleanups around big promotional holidays, focusing on shutting down a number of illegal accounts during certain time periods. Sellers on Amazon who have been doing this for a long time all know this pattern. What we can do is to do as little as possible during these sensitive periods. Now that Amazon has issued a warning letter, unless you do not want to continue doing this business, doing so in defiance of the warning is a sure way to get yourself killed. Sellers who have received a warning can only do so in a timid way, and it is best to stop asking for reviews and avoid the spotlight for a while. Recently, not only are fake orders being investigated, but many sellers have also had their accounts linked for unknown reasons. Even when they are sure that their network and data are clean, they are linked and their stores are closed. |
