Amazon recently issued a new announcement that the new insurance policy of mandatory no-deductible that was just released some time ago will now be cancelled! Previously, Amazon released a new commercial insurance regulation at the end of June, requiring third-party sellers with annual sales of less than US$1 million not to purchase insurance with deductibles when purchasing commercial insurance. According to market conditions, the price difference between a product with a coverage of one million US dollars and a deductible of 10,000 and no deductible may be more than one thousand dollars. So when Amazon's new policy came out, many small sellers complained that the cost was much higher and that the insurance was basically useless. This new policy has no restrictions on big sellers. Big sellers with annual sales of more than one million US dollars will not care about the price difference with or without a deductible. After Amazon introduced the new regulations, there have been various negative feedbacks from sellers. Therefore, after weighing the pros and cons, it officially announced that it would return to the previous requirements. Sellers with annual sales of less than one million US dollars will not be forced to purchase commercial insurance with no deductible products, but the deductible must not exceed US$10,000. This new policy is quite friendly, but unfortunately, those sellers who had just renewed their insurance some time ago and were forced to buy insurance without deductibles suffered losses, and Amazon could not compensate them. This actually confirmed my prediction when the new policy was released last time. Insurance is a new thing for sellers and Amazon, and many pitfalls may not even be foreseen by the platform. At that time, my conclusion was that changes and new policies in the insurance section would be more frequent. As a result, one and a half months later, Amazon changed the new regulations back, which was really ridiculous. Amazon will pay more attention to insurance. If the sales volume reaches the threshold of purchasing insurance but the seller does not buy it, it will definitely be dealt with by the authorities. However, we must be careful when buying insurance. There have been POE orders that have exploded before, which has sounded the alarm for us sellers. When buying insurance, you must confirm which company's insurance products are. If it is an agency, you must carefully check its qualifications. It is best to get word of mouth and inside information. Off topic: I wanted to talk to you about Pelosi's escape, but the topic is too sensitive and I'm afraid of account security issues. However, our big seller group is discussing this matter very lively. Tonight will be a critical period for determining Sino-US relations and even our entire foreign trade industry. Welcome everyone to join our group to track whether Pelosi will come! There are also top big sellers in the group, such as Ally, Vice President of Tongtuo Technology, Mr. Sun, former CEO of Jiazhilian, etc. If you meet the following requirements, you can join our circle and exchange experiences with top big sellers! 1. To join the group and verify the seller’s identity, the seller must have been in operation for more than 3 years or have a total annual sales of more than 5 million. 2. Sellers joining the group are required to remain active. Sellers who remain inactive for more than 7 days will be automatically kicked out and will no longer be allowed to join the group. 3. Advertising and private adding are prohibited, and members will be kicked out of the group if found. |
