Another freight forwarding company is in trouble! A seller in Shenzhen was sued by Amazon

In the cross-border e-commerce industry, freight forwarding companies go bankrupt every year, but this year there seem to be particularly many.

A Shanghai FBA freight forwarding company went bankrupt

Some time ago, a cross-border logistics company in Guangzhou was exposed for accepting cargo sent by air from Europe at a low price, but actually transported it by rail. Unexpectedly, the company was surrounded by its peers and customers, and a fight broke out on the spot...

Recently, another seller revealed that a freight forwarding company in Shanghai went bankrupt and the boss ran away with the money !

According to the seller, the freight forwarder is an international FBA freight forwarding company that received goods at prices lower than the market price and defrauded the sellers of their goods. All the collected goods were piled up in the warehouse without being processed. It is reported that the company has also conducted several rounds of financing, but due to the continued global epidemic, the freight forwarding company's capital chain was broken, and employee wages began to be cut. The company's operations are facing difficulties and there is a risk of bankruptcy.

In addition to defrauding goods by selling at low prices, some freight forwarding companies also specifically target cross-border companies that are in a hurry to ship goods. They attract sellers with low prices, and then temporarily raise prices and charge additional fees after the goods enter the warehouse. However, since the sellers are in a hurry to ship the goods, they can only bite the bullet and allow themselves to be slaughtered.

These bloody lessons tell us that when the price offered by the freight forwarding company is lower than the market price or cost price, the seller needs to carefully consider whether there is a fishy reason for receiving the goods at a low price. The lower the price, the better .

In addition, sellers must pay more attention to the freight forwarding companies on the blacklist to avoid stepping on landmines. In May, the Shenzhen Freight Forwarders Association published a blacklist of international freight forwarding companies in Shenzhen on its official website, totaling 1,246 companies .

The peak season is coming, and there have been a lot of malicious complaints, infringements and other incidents recently.

A single mother was forced into a corner after being maliciously complained about second-hand goods

Recently, many sellers have been maliciously complained about second-hand goods, and then received red flags and their listings were removed. Among them, the worst one is this single mother who put all her belongings on Amazon.

I am a single mother. I started selling on Amazon in June 2019 with only one product. After the Spring Festival this year, the product started to take off. Last month, I was able to achieve sales of 100 orders a day. With this single listing, my life and my baby's life have gradually improved.

But on July 11, this listing that supported my family’s livelihood was suddenly reported as second-hand, and the listing was removed from sale, while FBA still had more than 3,000 items in stock... In order to unblock the listing as soon as possible, I tried every possible way.

In order to save money, I didn’t find a service provider at first (I heard from colleagues that this type of appeal is easy to handle), but I received an email on the same day after I appealed. In desperation, I could only look for a service provider who had second-hand appeals. Finally, I found a "life-saving straw" through a seller. After placing an order, the other party told me that it would be unblocked within 15 days. However, what I didn’t expect was that I was waiting for two failed appeal emails. Amazon told me that if I continued to receive complaints, my account would be blocked.

What’s even more annoying is that after I failed to appeal, this service provider refused to provide me with the email I wrote and even blocked me! I’m really at the end of my rope now, and I feel like my last hope has been killed…

Such malicious complaints about second-hand goods are indeed infuriating, and sellers can only complain to customer service.

A seller in Shenzhen was sued by Amazon

Recently, Amazon is working with a British cosmetics company ( KF Beauty ) to conduct product infringement litigation.

Amazon and KF Beauty jointly filed a lawsuit against four companies and 16 individuals , accusing them of counterfeiting KF Beauty 's "Wunder2" beauty products and selling the infringing products in Amazon stores. The lawsuit alleges that they violated Amazon's relevant policies and infringed KF Beauty 's intellectual property rights and various trademarks .

Amazon and KF Beauty have filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. The lawsuit alleges that the defendants colluded and acted in concert to counterfeit KF Beauty ’s products. The defendants are alleged to have operated a shell company in Wyoming, and at least one of the defendants was identified as residing in Shenzhen, China .

If the defendants are found liable and receive a judgment, KF Beauty will receive damages, and Amazon will refund all consumers who received counterfeit KF Beauty products.

Amazon Prime Day is coming soon, and various infringements, malicious complaints, and follow-selling will emerge one after another. At this time, it is particularly important to do a good job of intellectual property protection.
