Crash! The goods were missing for 90 days! The "second-hand freight forwarder" refused to compensate, and finally...
Recently, a seller exposed a certain international supply chain management company . The goods sent last year had not arrived in March, and it was unknown whether the goods were lost, which seriously affected the store operation. The seller asked the freight forwarder for compensation, but was unexpectedly blocked!

Second-hand freight forwarder "jumped the car" and was blacklisted for claiming compensation

The seller Xiao A (pseudonym) sent a batch of goods from the freight forwarder Mr. Chen in December last year . At that time, Mr. Chen claimed that he was an employee of an international supply chain management company and took over the batch of goods.

Xiao A has always wanted to know the logistics status , but has never received a reply . Then the freight forwarder Mr. Chen handed Xiao A over to another salesperson Xiao B. Salesperson Xiao B told Xiao A that the goods were lost. After that, Xiao A has been negotiating with salesperson Xiao B about compensation, but he did not expect to be blocked .

At this point, I believe most sellers have discovered the clues. This is a "second-hand freight forwarder jumping the truck" incident. The freight forwarder, Mr. Chen, took over Xiao A's goods and then shipped them through International Supply Chain Management Co. , Ltd. , and then passed the problem to Xiao B, a salesperson of an international supply chain company.

There was no follow-up on the compensation, and the seller was anxious...

After repeatedly requesting compensation but being evaded or rejected, the seller Xiao A had no choice but to expose a certain international supply chain management company on his WeChat Moments.

But the reversal came. Yesterday afternoon, XX International Supply Chain Management Co. , Ltd. issued a statement saying that the shipment was commissioned by Guangzhou Mouda Freight Transport Agency Co., Ltd., and the company had no direct cooperation with the seller .

On March 12, the salesperson also informed the seller Xiao A that the goods had arrived, so the company believed that what the seller Xiao A said, "The goods shipped in December have not yet arrived," was a fabrication .

The company said: " We have contacted the seller for his unauthorized defamation and asked him to apologize in public, such as in the group. Otherwise, we will seek legal means to protect our rights and seek compensation. "

Afterwards, the seller Xiao A also issued a statement saying that his goods were collected by a third-party freight forwarder , and this third-party freight forwarder (Xiao Chen) had a cooperative relationship with a certain international supply chain management company; the claim issue had not been implemented for a long time because the salesperson concealed the problem for the sake of his own performance and did not report it , which caused the misunderstanding.

Real and fake freight forwarders disrupt the market, how can sellers avoid being scammed?

Recently, there have been frequent incidents of freight forwarding scams. This is mainly because freight forwarding companies have low costs, some freight forwarding companies even have fake registered addresses, and many sellers are too lazy to conduct on-site inspections, so they cannot find anyone when problems arise later.

"Many freight forwarders collect goods themselves, without spending any money, and then sell the goods to large companies and make a profit from the difference."

"I used to live in an alley near Bao'an Airport. There were several freight forwarders there, each with one or two people operating. It was a small shop, and you couldn't even see a warehouse."

So how can sellers tell whether their freight forwarder is reliable or not, and whether it is a second-hand freight forwarder?

A person in the freight forwarding industry said that there are many small freight forwarders who are trying to make money out of nothing. They do not have any logistics resources and simply hand over the goods to a cooperative company, which arranges the shipment. On the one hand, they owe money to the cooperative company, and on the other hand, they collect freight from the seller . Sellers must be wary of this type of freight forwarders.

This kind of small freight forwarder accepts all goods, claiming that they have all channels and can absolutely guarantee delivery time. However, sellers need to be clear that no matter how powerful a company is, it will not do business with all channels, because if the volume of goods cannot supply this channel, it will suffer losses.

  • "Second-hand goods are actually not much different from first-hand goods. Many big dealers in Shenzhen only accept goods from their peers and not direct customers, so the price of second-hand goods may sometimes be better than that of first-hand goods. However, sellers also need to be wary of freight forwarders who offer too low prices . If the price is too low, there may be many unknown risks hidden."

  • "Whether it is a second-hand or first-hand freight forwarder, the main thing to look at is how they deal with the problem, which is the compensation agreement . The quality of a freight forwarder depends on whether the compensation agreement is complete."

In addition, it is common practice to check the other party's business license and tax registration certificate before cooperating. You can also check the company's reputation online to see if the company has ever been involved in a lawsuit.

The editor reminds all sellers that they need to keep their eyes open and choose carefully when shipping. Do not choose low-priced and unreliable freight forwarders, as losing both money and goods will be irreparable.
