There is a risk of drowning, this inflatable paddle board is urgently recalled! Sales volume: 20,000+

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of the S***9 inflatable paddle board because the glue at the seams of the surfboard may separate, causing accidental leakage of the surfboard and posing a drowning risk to the user.

The recall involves the following products: Body Glove Tandem, ULI Inventor Inflatable, ULI Zettian, and ULI Lila.

It is reported that these products are all made in China and sold in Costco stores and websites. Among them, the Body Glove series is priced at about US$630 and sold from December 2021 to July 2022. The ULI series is priced at about US$700 to US$800 and sold from July 2021 to July 2022.

Currently, about 13,300 of these products have been sold in the United States and about 7,000 in Canada. To date, S***9 has received three reports of Body Glove surfboards deflated.

CPSC advises purchasers to immediately stop using the product and return it to a Costco store for a full refund. In the meantime, Costco is contacting all known purchasers.

It is learned that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has been keeping a close eye on product safety issues on major platforms. Previously, many products on Amazon and Costco were recalled. Therefore, sellers must always pay attention to product dynamics and relevant laws and regulations to prevent losses.
