mParticle and Shopify cooperate to provide data support for Shopify sellers

It is learned that Shopify recently announced a partnership with data analysis company mParticle. This cooperation will allow mParticle to obtain user information and user historical purchasing behavior data from Shopify, provide data support for marketers, and provide customers with an efficient shopping experience.

Shopify has added more than 300 integrations for analytics, marketing, customer service, engineering and data warehousing tools, accessible through the customer data infrastructure provided by mParticle.

The integration between mParticle and Shopify enables modern brands to build a single view of their customers based on data across websites, apps, physical stores, support channels, social media, and e-commerce.

It is learned that mParticle will extract key user and event data from Shopify, unify it with existing user data, analyze user consumption habits, and provide users with humanized purchase push services. After the user makes a purchase, Shopify can also push relevant after-sales services to the user based on the order status feedback from the Shopify system.

mParticle connects customer data collected across channels to the tools and systems that use it to achieve a 360° view of customers across all channels, personalize support by providing sellers with richer context, and track order fulfillment.

“We are focused on building a completely open ecosystem of partner integrations,” said Michael Katz, CEO and co-founder of mParticle. “Adding Shopify to the mix helps create a single view of the customer so we can help businesses deliver a consistent, personalized experience across all touchpoints.”
