In recent years, the platform has gradually added service-type products, such as Cdiscount Voyage and Cdiscount phone packages.

The opening of the "C leMarché" third-party seller platform in 2011 injected a large number of new products into the platform and became the development focus of Cdiscount.

VI. Development History

In 2000, it was acquired by the largest French chain restaurant CASINO.

In 2011, we officially opened up our third-party seller business. Now we have more than 10,000 international sellers.

In January 2011, Casino Group purchased 99.6% of Cdiscount's shares.

In 2014, Cdiscount achieved sales of 2.3 billion euros. It officially launched in other European countries such as Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany, etc.

In 2015, Cdiscount generated revenues of €2.074 billion, half of which came from its online sales platform C le Marché.

In July 2016, Cdiscount held an investment promotion conference in Shenzhen, which was also its first investment promotion conference in China.

In 2017, Cdiscount actively developed various businesses, such as tourism and electricity. Cdiscount's annual operating income (self-operated + third-party) reached 3.4 billion euros, an increase of 9.6% over 2016. Mobile terminals accounted for 38.1%.

In 2019, we began to support delivery to five European countries (France/Belgium/Germany/Italy/Spain).

In 2019, Cdiscount officially launched a new e-commerce service agency ComeOnplace, which aims to provide solutions or strategic consulting services such as product catalog/page optimization, logistics management, digital marketing and financial technology for small and medium-sized enterprises and major brands in France and abroad. The agency currently has more than 50 partners and more than 3,000 loyal users. Among them, Dyson, OPPO, Go Sport, CAMAIEU, MATY, Mr.BRICOLAGE, Smartbox, Floureo and other brands have become its service targets.

7. China Station

Cdiscount is the first local platform to open its doors to Chinese sellers. It has a dedicated Chinese investment team and has seen an astonishing growth in the number of sellers over the past two years. Currently, there are about 3,000 Chinese sellers, accounting for about one-third of the total number of sellers, of which about 1,000 sellers use FBC, accounting for 80% of all sellers using FBC.

Cdiscount launches a number of exclusive services for Chinese sellers

1. Exclusive Chinese service team. Jonathan Gorges said that for all Chinese sellers, from the first day of applying to join the Cdiscount third-party seller platform, there will be Chinese account managers or customer service to "escort", including investment managers at the time of entry, seller growth managers during the growth period, category key account managers, overseas warehouses and customer service, etc. "Cdiscount will try its best to get Chinese staff to connect with sellers to ensure the experience."

2. All the files supported by the platform, including tutorials, online courses, customer service templates, etc., have been made into Chinese versions and then shared with sellers to help them grow;

3. Introducing QQ and WeChat, including some internal emails on the platform, and making them available in French, English and Chinese so that Chinese sellers can better understand them;

4. Chinese sellers can also enjoy the same marketing and digital services provided to sellers in Europe.
