Financing

In June 2012 , it received a $3 million Series A funding from Accel Partners and iNovia Capital .

In September 2014 , it received a $ 35 million Series B funding from iNovia Capital and Accel Partners .

In September 2015 , Lightspeed POS received US$ 61 million in Series C funding, led by Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Investissement Québec , and followed by Accel Partners and others.

In October 2017 , Lightspeed POS announced that it had received a US$ 166 million Series D financing, led by Caisse de dépot et placement du Québec , the largest investment institution in Canada, which contributed US$ 136 million in this round of financing . Other investors included iNovia Capital and Silicon Valley Bank.
