Amazon FBA program updates features, adds additional subsidies

Recently, Amazon released an update announcement in the background, announcing that the FBA Order Savings plan will add a new DashBoard function!

In addition to some general data, sellers can also see the various indicators of each ASIN through DashBoard, and can filter by time ranges such as year and month. Before this, the Subscribe & Save page was relatively simple, and there was no unified display page for each product participating in the plan. Now that DashBoard is online, it puts together several key indicators that sellers want to know, which greatly facilitates sellers participating in the Subscribe & Save plan.

The Subscribe and Save program is a large-volume, regular, preferential purchasing program. Buyers can choose the Subscribe and Save program when they need to purchase a certain commodity in large quantities on a regular basis to obtain certain ordering discounts.

Therefore, this plan is very suitable for daily necessities, consumables that need to be purchased repeatedly, such as paper towels, disinfectants, masks and the like.

After turning on automatic registration (you can turn it off in the backend if you don’t want to use it), you can set a discount price for the products participating in the program. Amazon provides sellers with three levels to choose from: 0%, 5%, and 10%. The default discount for automatically registered products is 0%, and sellers can choose different discount levels.

Regardless of the discount chosen by the seller, Amazon will provide an additional 5% subsidy on top of the seller's discount, which means that consumers who purchase from the Subscribe & Save program can enjoy at least 5%, 10% and 15% discounts. This is a promotional subsidy policy with an indefinite duration, so sellers who are interested in participating in the event are advised to do so as soon as possible.

There is no additional cost to participate in Subscribe & Save. Amazon will only charge sellers regular FBA logistics fees.

Ordinary consumers need to purchase a certain number of items when ordering to enjoy these Subscribe & Save discounts, while Business buyers can enjoy an additional 5% Amazon discount regardless of how many items they order, so sellers with a large number of business orders can also consider making good use of Amazon's 5% discount subsidy.

In summary, the Subscribe & Save plan is very suitable for categories such as epidemic prevention consumables and daily necessities. If Subscribe & Save is combined with some promotional methods such as LD, a very attractive discount can be provided at a lower cost (remember that the main image A+ cannot be promoted in the name of "Subscribe & Save").

DHL suspends services to 6 more countries, FedEx raises peak season surcharges

Recently, a freight forwarder said that the Hong Kong DHL standard channel has suspended the delivery service of 0-5KG packages to 6 countries. These 6 countries are Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Finland, Turkey, Bulgaria, and the previously suspended countries - Austria, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Nigeria, so there are 12 countries where the delivery service has been suspended.

In addition to DHL, sellers are now complaining about USPS, saying that USPS delays have ruined Christmas. This is because many eBay sellers, Shopify sellers, and Amazon self-shipping sellers in foreign countries have said that USPS delays have surged, leading to a surge in complaints from buyers. Some eBay sellers have even turned on holiday mode and plan to come back to sell goods after January.

According to foreign media reports, outside the United States Post Office on Broadway, USPS delivery trucks have been lined up in a long queue, and some truck drivers have been waiting for 16 hours to unload the packages in their trucks.

To make matters worse, FedEx's peak season surcharges are set to increase further.

The announcement shows that from November 30 to December 27, the peak season surcharge rates for some FedEx international parcel shipments and heavy cargo shipments exported from mainland China will increase. This will enable us to continue to provide high-quality services during this period.

The updated surcharge rate amounts are as follows:

Suspension of operations, price increases, slow delivery... The current logistics situation is really hard to describe. Various problems have continued from the beginning of the year to the end of the year, and there is no sign of them stopping. What's worse is that in addition to these, sellers are also facing various attacks from Amazon!
