Starting August 15, 2024, Amazon will update existing product bullet point requirements to simplify and improve product detail pages for customers.


Amazon mentioned that if the requirements are not met – the original content may be removed or replaced with new AI-generated content.

01 Find the offending ASIN;
02 Carefully review Amazon’s “Restricted Products” policy on the Amazon Seller Central Help page as well as local laws and regulations;
03 Check the ASIN listing information to determine the source of the violation, such as images, sensitive words, categories, ingredients, or even the product itself;
04 Sellers should review their own operational processes to confirm whether there are any loopholes in the process from product selection, editing product information to subsequent restricted product inspection.


In addition, regarding the cautious use of words such as "environmental protection", "eco-friendly" and "green" , many sellers feel strange and wonder why such common words cannot be used. What is a statement that misleads and deceives consumers? How to express it correctly?
