Previously, if you clicked "acknowledge" and then checked "submit", your appeal would be approved almost immediately. Now, when you click the "appeal" button, you will have two options: admit the violation or not admit it (misjudgment). Because it is difficult for sellers to prove that the buyer's product is not defective, the "product defect" appeal option of admitting the error has a higher approval rate.

2. Appeal Plan for Admitting Mistakes

    • By submitting a VAT invoice, just tick the box to submit the invoice. You need to answer relevant questions, such as whether you are the brand owner of the ASIN under review, whether the brand is registered in the Amazon Brand Registry program, and select the main reason for the product defect complaint (such as misleading information on the product details page, manufacturing defects, imperfect quality control, etc.).


  2. Option ② (pass rate about 70%)

    • By submitting a POA, there is a risk of removing existing inventory. You need to select imperfect quality control and other reasons to access the appeal interface for submitting a POA, and you need to further explain the specific circumstances of the imperfect quality control (such as imperfect incoming quality inspection, insufficient inspection of goods before delivery, etc.).



III. Non-recognition of appeal requests for violations
If you choose "Do not admit violation", you need to provide a full explanation of the misjudgment, describe in detail how the problem was discovered and provide evidence. When appealing the violation type "Not as described", you must also submit a valid VAT invoice within the past 365 days.

  2. Complaint Request

    • Admit violation and appeal: Depending on the type of violation, some require admitting and checking the violation, answering test questions, appealing and providing a VAT invoice (such as product quality, second-hand goods sold as new products, etc.), while others only require an appeal (such as not matching the description).

    • Appeal for non-admission of violation: You need to provide an explanation, describe the process and provide evidence. For certain types of violations, you also need to submit a VAT invoice.
