The company provides software marketing products ( SaaS , software as a service) to help companies create social forums for customers to communicate with each other and promote the company's own products.

Financing

In 2012 , social network management platform Lithium Technology announced that it had received $ 53.4 million in investment in its fourth round of financing . This round of financing was jointly initiated by the venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates ( NEA ) and SAP , and other participants included existing investors Benchmark Capital , DAG Ventures , Emergence Capital, Greenspring Associates, Shasta Ventures and Tenaya Capital . In addition, Lithium also appointed NEA partner Pete Sonsini as a director of the company.

In 2013 , Lithium completed a $ 50 million pre-IPO mezzanine financing. The company did not disclose the specific list of investors. After this round of financing, its total financing amount has reached $ 142 million. The proceeds from this round of financing will be used to further develop the platform and expand marketing and sales.
