My C position

I just got to work and I received this email. Are they going to forcefully remove all inventory that is over 270 days old (overage saleable inventory)? ? ?

This is a big deal for us sellers of seasonal products. Everyone has some unsold inventory to be sold next year.

Therefore, I am posting this to ask everyone: Is there a "disable" option to prohibit Amazon from removing salable inventory that is more than 270 days old?

1/ Amazon charges a high fee on top of the monthly storage fee for inventory that is over 6 months old, and the fee increases every month. You may say, "This is a big deal for us sellers of seasonal products, as everyone has some unsold inventory to sell next year." Why don't you first look at the fee standards for overstocking and then weigh the pros and cons.

2/ Furthermore, even if a removal order is generated, you can still cancel the removal (for example, if it is a removal order from the United States, you can cancel it in Canada, and that is how the service provider operates)

I just opened a case this morning, and the customer service replied that in the settings menu, select Amazon Logistics and find the automatic available inventory setting, and select disable. In this case, the system will not automatically remove it, but will only charge a monthly overage inventory surcharge.

Inventory surcharge depends on the value of the goods. In the future, the inventory cost will be more expensive than the goods.

@粥酒0258: The surcharges in the US are really scary. I’m doing better in Europe.

I checked the disabled settings in the backend, so it won't be automatically removed. The difference is that the previous period was 365 days, and now it is changed to 270 days. Will the long-term storage fee be more severe in the future?

Try Amazon's Amazon content creator program. Set a higher discount code and commission, and create content for China's off-season sales. See if you can sell it.

Where is this entrance?

@打酱油路过: Only Amazon can open it for us. If there is no store in the backend, it means the store conditions have not been met.

I used to work on seasonal products, such as Halloween and Christmas. The company usually requires that they be cleared out at the end of preparation and not left over for the next season. Otherwise, the rush fee would be too expensive.

I received it too, but I don't know the situation yet. I will go online to ask the Q customer service when the time comes.

Customer service said that if you choose to disable it, it will not be removed

I also asked the customer service, and they said that after being disabled, the products will not be removed but will most likely be turned into unsalable products. At that time, just occupying the storage fee will not be a big deal; we thought it would be better to clear out the stock once and for all.

How do I know Mai Fuzhou

If it is not removed, will the overdue saleable products become unsaleable? 0.0

@城市牛马001: It's like giving you a push haha! Get rid of the old and welcome the new

@城市牛马001: Yeah, what does it mean to be marked as unsaleable?

City Cow and Horse 001 • Zhongshan

@熊猫爱睡: There is no such thing as getting rid of the old and welcoming the new for seasonal products. Just pay some storage fees for the inventory. The goal was to stabilize the price increase during the peak season, but now they are forced to choose to either clear out the stock or discard it. Either way, they will lose a lot of inventory first.

No problem, just disable it.

@我啷个知道迈: No, you will just be charged for overstocking.
