More than 10,000 products have been recalled! The United States is keeping a close eye on "Made in China"!

According to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of Tony Hawk silver helmets sold exclusively at Walmart. The reason for the recall is that the product does not meet the position stability and retention system regulations in the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's bicycle helmet safety standard. The helmet cannot provide protection in a crash and will pose a risk of head injury to cyclists.

The recalled product is a Tony Hawk metal multi-purpose helmet with a silver color, black straps and a black buckle. The word Tony Hawk is printed on the helmet. The product number AGE2515STH-SIL is printed on the white warning label on the inside of the helmet.

It is understood that these products originated from China and were imported to the United States by Sakar. They were sold on the Walmart website from March 2022 to June 2022 at a price of approximately US$30, and approximately 12,655 pieces were sold.

The CPSC warns buyers to stop using the recalled helmets immediately to avoid any mishaps. In addition, as a remedy for this recall, buyers who want a refund need to return the item to Sakar, and Walmart will provide a refund in the form of a $40 gift card.

It is learned that the US Consumer Product Safety Commission has been keeping a close eye on the safety issues of Chinese products. Many products have been recalled before, such as iMoonzz children's pajamas, Scholastic children's books, One Step hair dryers, as well as some electrical appliances and furniture, etc. Therefore, sellers must always pay attention to product dynamics and relevant laws and regulations to prevent losses.
