Baby cradles sold on Amazon and other platforms have been recalled by CPSC due to the risk of falling!

It is learned that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of Beberoadlove's New Moon Travel baby cradle due to the risk of falling.

The recalled product is the New Moon Travel baby cradle, which comes in dark gray, blue, light gray, pink, purple and sky blue, and has a star-shaped mattress. The cradle can be folded open, with a foldable mesh mosquito net and a bag with handles on the top, the model name "New Moon" printed on the canopy, and the brand "beberoad LOVE" printed on the top of the bag.

The recall includes only bassinets manufactured on or after June 23, 2022. The model name, model number TB999-1, and the manufacturing date in DD/YYYY format are located in a sewn label on the bottom of the bassinet. The CPSC said the product violates federal safety regulations for infant sleep products and poses a fall hazard when used in an elevated position due to a lack of a stand.

Between December 2023 and June 2024, approximately 1,940 units of the product were sold on Amazon, Walmart online store, and beberoadbaby's official website, with prices ranging from US$50 to US$73.

The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cradles and contact Beberoadlove to learn how to get a full refund and how to properly dispose of the product. Beberoadlove and Amazon are currently contacting all known purchasers directly.
