The ideal way for Amazon to update is probably to announce a time and update content in the background, and at this time, everyone refreshes the background at the same time to show that the update is complete. In fact, this is too difficult, so whenever Amazon needs to update something, it usually updates gradually. Some sellers will complete the update first and find that they have an additional function. They will not issue an announcement to notify everyone until all updates are completed. This was the case when the last Prime exclusive discounts were updated. Many sellers took the lead in updating this option and tried out the new activity, but this made those sellers who had not yet updated very anxious. The official announcement was not sent to sellers until 5 days later. The seller experience caused by this update was of course not good, but in the latest backend changes, this update time difference problem benefited sellers who had not updated. 01 Update of the graphic brand description (A+) This time, it was again some sellers who first revealed that the A+ page was undergoing changes, but there was no official backend notification. At the same time, some sellers had not yet updated and were still using the original A+ page. The entire creation logic of the updated A+ page has changed. Let me talk about two more important changes. First, there are no more templates to choose from When creating new graphic descriptions in the old version of the A+ system, there are some templates that have already combined many modules to choose from. ▲Style templates of various modules have been combined After the update, these combined templates are no longer provided when creating A+ pages. After clicking on Create New A+ Content, you will be directly redirected to the combination page below, where sellers can only combine various image/text modules by themselves. There are also restrictions on the number of modules. The total number of modules is limited to 5 (excluding the fixed store logo part), and only two large picture modules (970*600) can be used. The problem of templates not being usable will cause a lot of trouble for novice sellers or sellers who lack aesthetic sense. In addition to the restrictions on the large image module, sellers who have not updated this system yet should hurry up and submit their A+, because after the update, there will be no such opportunity! Second, the change of corresponding mode Previously, one ASIN corresponded to one picture and text page. Although sub-products could be copied directly between each other, the copies were saved as drafts and still needed to be submitted for review one by one. However, after the new version of the A+ system was updated, a separate page was changed to correspond to multiple different ASINS. After making a page, you can add the corresponding ASINS one by one and submit them for review directly. However, there is a disadvantage for some old A+ pages that still have 970*1300 modules. This module can no longer be copied to new products. The new matching mode limits this old module to being copied only to other sub-products under the same parent product. In general, this change is more convenient for sellers with many variants. It is really troublesome and time-consuming to submit for review page by page. 02 What will this change bring? This change is mainly an update to the seller's operations, and the essence of the graphic and text descriptions has not changed much. The interesting thing is that the A+ page is independent and can correspond to multiple ASINS. This change is very consistent with the previous changes in Amazon video, which also changed from a single correspondence to a single video corresponding to multiple ASINS. Pictures, texts and videos are actually product descriptions. Separating these contents so that they can correspond to multiple ASINs is likely to be the direction of Amazon's next change. Back to the A+ changes, without the official template provided by Amazon as a reference, many sellers may not know how to make a good-looking A+ page. It can be seen that we sellers often encounter the need for art design in our operations on Amazon. I myself have never learned this before, so I feel very uncomfortable when I encounter the main picture and A+ (I don’t know how to do it at all (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻)
So I want to ask everyone, what kind of art/art design knowledge do you think you need most in your operations? (It may involve the benefits we will provide to everyone later) Vote for the art knowledge you want to learn~ PS.
