Preface of the Little Clone: Recently, everyone should be preparing for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Recently, we received a report from a student seller, who told about how he was cheated by the platform and the driver during the delivery process, and was even blackmailed by the driver. I collected some screenshots and details and will expose them to you today. In order to facilitate your understanding, I will tell the story from the perspective of the seller in question. title In order to meet the shipping date, the goods were shipped in a hurry but encountered blackmail I just started doing Amazon Japan at the end of last year, so I am still a novice. Because of the reverse calculation problem of the Japanese site this year, I have changed many freight forwarders. The freight forwarder I am working with now does not have a delivery point in my city, so I need to send the large goods to their warehouse myself. Because we just started working together, their shipping schedule and my daily delivery time are still being adjusted, so the two times I sent it, it was stuck on the day before the order cut-off, and I had to ask the Lalamove driver to take it to their warehouse. Because the transportation price of Lalamove itself is several times higher than that of logistics, and to take it to the freight forwarder's warehouse, I need to take the highway. According to the regulations of the Lalamove platform, I need to bear the one-way highway fee (because there is no goods coming back, so it is a one-way trip), resulting in a very high overall transportation cost. Although it is expensive, Huolala can guarantee same-day delivery, so you can catch the shipping date before the order is closed. Cross-border sellers should feel this, especially now that the peak season has just passed and the goods are sold out. The earlier the goods are replenished, the earlier the sales will be. So I can accept the high cost of transporting goods. The Lalamove drivers I found in the past few times were pretty normal, and I relaxed my guard a little, but in the most recent one, the Lalamove driver actually detained the goods and extorted them! This made me seriously doubt the supervision and auditing strength of this platform. title Being cheated This time, I still packed the goods and placed an order directly on the Huolala app. During the process of loading the goods onto the car, the Huolala driver made me feel unhappy. Generally, the Huolala driver would help with the moving, at least I would move the boxes onto the car, and he would organize the space inside the car and stack the boxes himself. But this time, the driver not only did not help, but even asked me to help him stack the boxes on the car. I declined at the time. Although I felt uncomfortable, I didn't think much about it. The goods I replenished this time were not much, just 22 boxes. They were quickly loaded and shipped to the freight forwarder's warehouse. If it was fast, it would arrive at 6 or 7 o'clock, just in time to catch the nearest shipping schedule. In the evening, the driver sent me a message saying that he had arrived and sent me the expressway receipt. I called him 118 according to the receipt, but he suddenly asked for two round trip expressway fees . I firmly disagreed. It was a one-way expressway before, so why did the driver raise the price when it was his turn? As a result, he sent me photos and said that he had detained a box of my goods and did not put it in the freight forwarder's warehouse. If I did not pay him double the expressway fee, he would take the box away. High-speed tickets He raised the price and even detained my goods for extortion. I was furious on the spot and told him to call the police right away. Unexpectedly, he became more excited after hearing the word "call the police" and provoked me wildly, saying that he wished I would report it. I immediately called the police on the spot and contacted the customer service of the Huolala platform to file a complaint. Then I contacted the freight forwarder's warehouse and found out that this master had secretly returned to their warehouse and took away a box of goods . The number of boxes that the freight forwarder had entered into the warehouse was correct . After I told them about it, they went to verify and found that one box was missing. At this point, I was so angry that I laughed. I sent the Huolala delivery specially to catch the ship on time. Now this happened. Didn't the driver really think about what would happen if I complained and called the police? Doesn't the Huolala platform punish these drivers? Unexpectedly, the driver was quite confident. When Huolala was on the phone with me, he even tried to smooth things over and asked me to pay the money to avoid the disaster. At this time, I couldn't even get angry. It was really weird. I immediately asked for the work number of Huolala customer service, found other complaint entrances on the platform, and complained to this customer service and the driver together. Now it is not a matter of one box of goods. All cross-border sellers have used Huolala to some extent. This incident reflects that there are obvious loopholes in the management of the masters on this platform. For this kind of masters who withhold goods and ask for a higher price, there are even customer service staff who will try to smooth things over and ask customers to pay . Although my problem was resolved in the end, is this indulgence of masters and indifference to customers an isolated case, or has it happened countless times under the surface? I am posting this article today to remind everyone not to let down your guard just because it is a big platform. When placing an order or picking up goods, be sure to record and take screenshots to keep as evidence. (Now my complaint record cannot be found in the backend of the Huolala app, only the conversation with the customer service at that time) Conclusion of the Little Clone: Huolala is still a relatively common platform among cross-border sellers. However, like Didi, as a platform between drivers and users, it needs to do a good job of screening and supervising drivers. Obviously, Huolala is lacking in this aspect in this case. I checked some cases online and consulted some students who have used Lalamove. I found that such conflicts are not isolated cases, and the seller, as the entrusting party, is often the party whose interests are damaged. I also suggest to everyone that Lalamove can definitely be used, but for your own benefit, you must keep good evidence. Have you encountered any strange things in shipping or other links that you want to expose or share? Welcome to reply in the comment area, or expose it to me. |
