Official channel for deleting negative reviews! ? Amazon releases a new feature!

In the past two days, Amazon has updated a new function in the background, opening a new channel for sellers to contact customers who have given negative reviews!

Amazon has not yet announced the details of this feature. We tried it ourselves and based on the feedback from sellers in the group, we will quickly tell you about this long-awaited feature!

First of all, this function is accessed from the brand analysis module, so sellers must have completed brand registration before they can use this function. Moreover, according to the case analysis of sellers in our group, TM mark registration is not acceptable. If you are doing brand authorization, it is also not acceptable. It can only be used after R mark registration.

Currently, only the US site has this function. The Japanese and European sites have not yet been opened. However, it is only a matter of time before it is promoted to other sites. Registered sellers on the US site can use it first!

On the page that opens, all the low-star reviews of the product will be collected. However, some will have the "Contact Buyer" button, while some will not. Based on our current observations, we believe that if a customer places an order for a follow-up product and leaves a bad review, there is no way to contact the buyer here, and only the party providing the product can be contacted.

When both the seller and the review conditions are met, the "Contact Seller" button will appear. After clicking, options will appear and the seller can choose one of the reasons for contacting.

The two reasons are actually two corresponding templated replies. This template is set by Amazon and cannot be changed or adjusted by sellers. The overall feeling of using it is similar to the previous "Request Review" button.

What’s more bizarre is that customers can choose not to communicate about the negative review they left, which means they can refuse all contact from the seller. The corresponding reminder will also be displayed in the seller’s backend, and the seller will not be able to use this new function to contact the customer.

Previously, Amazon had always strictly controlled the communication channels between buyers and sellers, and even killed several top sellers on charges of manipulating reviews and inducing sales with small cards. This has caused panic among the public recently, and no one dares to play tricks in comments and email communications.

Moreover, Amazon has always strictly prohibited sellers from harassing customers because of negative reviews. The new negative review handling channel opened this time allows small and medium-sized sellers to use official channels to handle negative reviews of their products, which can be said to be an unprecedented step. Although the function effect may not be particularly good, the signal released is still very positive.

At present, the detailed usage conditions and rules of this function are still awaiting official announcement from Amazon. The conditions and points I mentioned above are summarized based on the actual situation in our group. After the official specific policies are released, I will inform everyone in our group as soon as possible . During this special period, we must get the latest news quickly and accurately.
