Cross-border 520: Brother-in-law sent mass warning emails, a large number of listings were deleted, and more than 2,000 sellers were banned

Today is the annual 520,

This is how life is for many people

Such

There is also this

However, 520 for cross-border sellers is like this .

A large number of sellers' listings were suddenly deleted

Early this morning, a seller reported in the group that since last night, his product listings have been inexplicably deleted , and that they were deleted without any infringement or other illegal operations .

Coincidentally, on the forum, many sellers said that the same situation occurred, and one seller even had all 7 listings deleted .

There is no infringement, why did my brother-in-law suddenly delete the listing?

To this end, some sellers sent multiple cases to customer service and received the following responses:

The customer service replied that it was because the brand name attribute was prohibited from being displayed , but the seller said that the brand name item was filled in, and the seller also followed the customer service’s reply, but the listing was still deleted .

At the same time, many other products of the same category of this seller were also deleted, but his products did not pose any infringement risk and did not violate any regulations, which gave him a headache.

Why does this happen?

The customer service replied that they were still investigating and repairing the problem, but did not specify the cause.

However, several sellers speculated that the listings deleted today should be those whose detail pages contained the word FDA .

I think this statement is very likely because the last time Amazon deleted sellers’ listings on a large scale, it was because the word 3m was included in the product description . The reason Amazon gave at the time was that “ 3m ” was a brand name.

What should sellers do?

In response to this situation, some sellers said that it is enough to delete all the words containing FDA in the BP copy, and then update it once using the template.

Some sellers said that they updated all the items using the template, then switched to FBA, and waited for more than ten minutes. It turned out that the SKU did not need to be deleted, otherwise it would take 24 hours to re-list. But the rankings were gone!

However, the disadvantage of this method is that reviews cannot be shared , which affects product rankings.

Some sellers also said that even if this method is used, the listing may not be restored. Some sellers said that none of their listings have been restored so far using this method.

Therefore, if the product has particularly good sales and the seller is anxious to restore the listing, he can try this method , just in case it succeeds .

Since the specific reason has not been found out yet, it is also possible that Amazon has gone crazy. Maybe it will be fine if we just wait for 1~2 days as they said!

Account suspension warning? Amazon sends out another batch of warning emails

A few days ago, a large number of sellers received small red flags from Amazon, warning sellers not to brush or review reviews.

Today, a new wave of mass email warnings has arrived . According to sellers’ feedback, several accounts received the following email early in the morning:

My brother-in-law is really hardworking. He can't even make 520, but he still comes out to intimidate the seller. He is dedicated to his job and deserves to be the richest man...

For Amazon's mass emails, experienced sellers have summarized four principles:

No reply

Not recognized

Kill and don't reply

I won't admit it even if I'm beaten to death

Then stop and evaluate slowly ...

He is indeed an expert. Therefore, sellers do not need to panic. If you receive the message, do not reply and ignore it. Once you reply, it means you have admitted to fake reviews, and your account may be blocked!

The sellers on the German website were banned because...

In addition to deleting listings and sending threatening emails, sellers on the German site have encountered Amazon’s most severe punishment - account suspension .

According to foreign media reports, more than 2,000 sellers on Amazon Germany were banned for price gouging . But this time, it was not the sellers' fault .

It is reported that the Amazon system cannot recognize the commas used by some European sellers in their prices. For example, a seller sets the price of a product at 109.95 euros, but Amazon displays it as 10,995 euros. As a result, since March, many Amazon German sellers have been misjudged as price gouging and their accounts have been blocked.

A Bavarian baby products seller said: " We did not raise the price of any single product during the epidemic. Amazon first froze the individual products and then suspended the entire seller account. We think this is unfair."

Another Amazon seller said, "So far, nearly 600 items have been suspended due to suspected price gouging . But we haven't changed the price of the goods for 24 months, how did we suddenly become price gougers? "

Amazon has received many complaints about this problem, and it has admitted that it was a loophole in the algorithm . A spokesperson said that the technical problem has now been resolved.

Although the issue seems to have been resolved, the blocked accounts have not been unblocked . A seller from Bavaria complained that his trading account had been blocked for several weeks.

Mass warning letters, listings being removed for no reason, and accounts being blocked at any time, it can only be said that sellers are having a hard time during the epidemic. However, as the peak season approaches, many sellers have seen a rebound in orders. Perhaps only by persisting can we usher in the dawn of explosive orders!

If you want to quickly increase sales on Amazon, you cannot rely solely on internal traffic. External traffic is also important. TikTok, which is currently the most popular app abroad , is the latest traffic-generating tool. Even Facebook can’t beat it!
