It is learned that recently, Shop.com, an e-commerce platform under Market America, announced a partnership with BitPay, a crypto payment service provider. Shop.com users will be able to choose to pay with Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and five stablecoins pegged to the US dollar.
Shop.com president and chief operating officer Steve Ashley said the service is available in all countries where Market America operates, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Malaysia.
In addition to Shop.com, BitPay has recently signed deals with businesses such as Las Vegas Auto Gallery and the Kessler Collection, a luxury hotel in the United States, to accept bitcoin payments.
The study showed that both cryptocurrency holders and non-holders are interested in crypto payments due to its speed and low fees. 93% of crypto users said they would consider buying crypto in the future, while 59% of non-holders expressed interest in using it for shopping.
