Solution steps - the product was mistakenly identified as a pesticide product and therefore cannot be sold


If a product is mistakenly captured as a pesticide product and becomes unsaleable:


1. Modify the sensitive words on the A+ page (if there is no A+ page, jump directly to step 2), including:

products marketed to disinfect, remove allergens, or prevent bacteria, antimicrobial,antifungal, antibacterial, or pesticide claim ( anti prefix part of speech)

non-toxic, non-hazardous, purifying, filtering, allergy-free, drying, durable, heavy-duty, wet /dry, mineral oil, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial, mold, disinfecting, repelling, removing allergens or preventing bacteria, preventing, eliminating, repelling or mitigating any pests,, ultraviolet light unit, sounder, insect trap, floor vibrator, water treatment unit, air treatment unit,

The contents will be prompted as pesticide products.

(It may take 7 working days to review)

If after modification, the listing status is updated to out of stock and unsaleable, jump directly to step 4


2.      After deleting sensitive words, edit the page. If it still prompts that pesticide review is required, use the template to modify it (the template does not support modifying the title, but only supports modifying the five points, description, etc.)

Template modification method:

(1) Inventory - Upload products in batches - Download inventory files - Step 1: Select the type of product you want to sell (click the category of the product in the "Product Classification Tool" according to the product you want to modify) - Step 2: Select the type of template - Advanced - Generate template

(2) After downloading the template, find the Template worksheet



Do not change other contents, fill in the information as follows: Product ID fill in Asin code


If it is a partial modification, fill in PartialUpdate in the following column , as shown in the figure:



If you want to update all, fill in Update . Note: For a full update, you must fill in all the information, including the existing information, otherwise the existing information will be lost.

For the five points of information: bullet_point1 to bullet_point5 are a common attribute and need to be filled in completely. Even if you only want to update one of them, you need to fill in all five points. As shown in the figure:



After filling in the form, click Bulk Upload Products - Upload your inventory file - Step 2, Upload file - File type: Inventory file - Browse - Upload

After uploading, click "Monitor Upload Status", wait for a few minutes, and when the upload status shows "Complete", click "Download Processing Report" to open the form.

If there is an error in the Feed Processing Summary table in the lower left corner of the Excel spreadsheet , as shown below (if there is no error, jump directly to step 3)

Just fill in the automatically filled content in the feed_product_type column in the Template worksheet , as shown below:


Repeat the above steps and download the processing report to see if there are any errors.

If you still get an error, contact the template team directly and provide the batch ID .

3.      After updating the information with the template, if the product still cannot be sold, the following two situations will occur:

(1) The product may have its editing permissions restored, but the product is still displayed as " unsaleable " . Click the edit page and slightly modify the product information. Then click save and finish several times (be sure to try several times) to activate and refresh the product. Pay attention to the sales status of the inventory.

(2) Templates can be used to operate and refresh.

Open the worksheet named "Template" in the spreadsheet , fill in the product information in row 4:

The " Seller SKU " column is the actual SKU of the sub-product ;

Fill in " Update Delete " column with " Update ";

Fill in "UPC Code" and " UPC " in the " Product ID " and " Product ID Type " columns ;

Note: If you are a brand registered seller and have applied for UPC exemption , you can leave the product ID and product ID type values ​​blank when filling in the template , but you need to fill in the Manufacturer Part Number value in the template ; if you have not applied for UPC exemption, you need to fill in the product ID and product ID type ;

Fill in other required information, such as " Product Name ", " Product Description ", " Key Product Features/Bullet point ", etc.

Note: The first three lines are system-defined values. Please do not modify them, including fonts, deletions, etc. If you modify them, the system will not be able to read the template correctly.


4. If after refreshing, the listing status is updated to out of stock and unsaleable, please contact the FBA team to refresh the status




5. If sales still cannot be made normally, please contact the details page team to modify the team contact path:
