Amazon account is frozen again? The storm before the peak season is coming...

The blocking of an account by Amazon is actually a very serious matter for sellers. As long as the account can be restored, basically everything is fine, with only a few days of loss of labor and profit. However, if the account cannot be restored, the seller will feel very disappointed.

Recently, the editor discovered that a large number of sellers’ Amazon accounts have been frozen again. “Second Aunt” visits every day, and what’s worse is that the accounts are frozen in conjunction with each other, and the US and Japanese sites are blocked together.

For sellers who are blocked, appealing is the only thing they can do. But appealing takes time and is not always successful. Before the peak season arrives, sellers should effectively avoid these things that may lead to blocking and avoid pitfalls.

As we all know, the most common reason for Amazon account suspension is selling restricted/prohibited products. You can easily avoid suspension due to this by researching what products Amazon allows to be sold. Amazon has very strict rules about what products are and are not allowed to be sold on its platform. Apart from this, what other reasons may lead to suspension?

Reopening a new account after the old account is suspended

This is not allowed as Amazon has regulations on this to ensure quality on its platform.

Opening multiple accounts to sell the same product

Generally, selling the same product from multiple accounts is not allowed by Amazon unless there is a special reason. For this special case, approval must be obtained from Amazon and separate bank accounts and emails must be maintained.

Poor performance indicators

Poor performance is the main reason why Amazon sellers’ accounts are frozen. In order to ensure customer satisfaction, Amazon has set performance targets that every seller on Amazon must achieve. These performance indicators include: order defect rate, order cancellation rate, and delayed shipment rate.

Order cancellation rate is less than 2.5%

The order cancellation rate is calculated by dividing the number of order cancellations before shipment by the number of orders in a specific time period. If the order cancellation rate is higher than 2.5%, it will definitely lead to an Amazon account suspension.

Defective order rate

It is very important to avoid getting negative feedback or refunds. This is because it indicates that your product is not as promised, and Amazon takes this very seriously. As stated by Amazon, their defective order rate should be less than 1%.

Delayed shipment rate

Late shipments are unacceptable as this will make customers very dissatisfied with Amazon's service. The limit for late shipment rate is 4%, which is calculated by dividing the orders delayed by more than 2 days by the total number of orders in the same period.
The above-mentioned circumvention measures apply to old stores, but with the peak season approaching, many sellers have found that the frequency of freezing of new stores is getting higher and higher. The submitted materials are real and valid but have not been approved. They have appealed but have received no response.
