Breaking news! The shopping cart acquisition rate of a large number of sellers has plummeted to 40%

On the first day after Prime Day, however, when all major sellers were immersed in the joy of Prime Day’s explosive orders, some sellers found that the Buy Box acquisition rate plummeted to below 50%!

The seller said that 10 minutes before the end of the membership day, the Buy Box acquisition rates of the two accounts he had suddenly dropped sharply. He checked the products and found that they were not being copied.

The seller was very puzzled. Was there something wrong with his account?

However, the seller asked other sellers about this matter and found that all sellers had the same problem today.

Seller A: I just wanted to check why this happened suddenly, but I didn't follow the sale and the shopping cart didn't drop.

Seller B: I am the same. It was 99% before, but it dropped to 59% near the turning point. I don’t know what happened.

Seller C: +1 It was 98% before and suddenly it became 42%. I don’t know what happened.

There was a chorus of voices below:

However, many sellers are optimistic about the situation, saying it may just be a system problem.

Some sellers also said that it might be a problem with product prices during the Membership Day period. The system treated the Membership Day discount as a general price reduction, so the Buy Box acquisition rate dropped.

However, this idea was immediately denied, and some sellers said that it would be the same even if they did not offer discounts.

Some sellers said that many people have reported this situation, and it has also happened in FBA. Some people opened a case to contact customer service, and when they first contacted customer service, the shopping cart was back, but it disappeared again after a while. There were also VCs who came to grab it. If it happens on a large scale, it is either a bug in the system or the buyers keep clicking on the one with the fastest delivery speed, causing the shopping cart to disappear.

There is currently no official response to the issue of shopping cart crashes after Prime Day. Sellers are advised to open a case as soon as possible to ask Amazon customer service what is going on.

The editor will continue to follow up on the latest news of this incident and provide feedback to everyone as soon as possible.
