Domestic flashlights are urgently recalled by CPSC! Available on Amazon!

According to foreign media reports, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of Olight Ecommerce Technology's M2R Pro and Warrior Mini flashlights on March 9. The reason for the recall is that when the flashlight is placed in a pocket or bag, it may accidentally turn on and heat up, posing a risk of burns.

The M2R Pro flashlights are reportedly sold in black, camo, desert brown, OD green, patriotic edition, gun gray, orange, blue, marine camo, purple, white and bronze, and are approximately 5.37 inches long, 1.16 inches wide, and printed with the words "Olight M2R". The ProWarrior Mini flashlights are sold in desert tan, camo, spring 2Ti, summer 2Ti, autumn 2Ti, winter 2Ti, eternal 2Cu and red, and are approximately 4.19 inches long, 0.91 inches wide, and printed with the words Olight Warrior Mini. The following are some product pictures:

The report said that these flashlights were all made in China and imported into the United States by Olight Ecommerce Technology Co. Ltd. The flashlights were sold on Olightstore.com, Amazon.com, and small stores nationwide from November 2019 to November 2021, with prices ranging from US$48 to US$120. Currently, about 215,100 units have been sold.

It is understood that Olight has received 127 reports of flashlights accidentally turning on and heating up, including 22 reports of burns, and 3 users suffered second-degree burns.

The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the recalled flashlights immediately. The remedy for this product is that buyers need to contact Olight to receive a full refund or a free replacement flashlight. Olight is also actively contacting buyers.
