Guangdong Tianqi Medical Technology Co., Ltd. found that the ventilation resistance of the product sample inspection did not meet the technical requirements of YY/T0969-2013, and Guangdong Tianqi Medical Technology Co., Ltd. decided to initiate an active recall. The recall level is level three. The models and specifications of the products involved are flat type and ear-hook type; the production batch number is 20200908, and the quantity is 80,500.

Recently, Shanghai market supervision departments, in the city-wide "Flash Sword" concentrated law enforcement operation on epidemic prevention materials, seized more than 550,000 suspected counterfeit N95 masks, with a preliminary estimated value of more than 5 million yuan!

On January 13, a reporter from Jiefang Daily and Shangguan News followed law enforcement officers from the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau Law Enforcement Brigade to the 6th floor of Building B2 in a park on Luochuan Middle Road. In an office in the building, 1,384 boxes of suspected counterfeit "Dasheng" DTC3X N95 masks (20 boxes per box, 20 masks per box) have been temporarily registered and preserved.

Rui Xi, an enforcement officer from the Enforcement Brigade of the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, said that after the enforcement officers visited Shanghai Dasheng Sanitary Products Manufacturing Co., Ltd., they learned that there were counterfeit "Dasheng" mask products in the city. After secret investigations, they initially obtained important clues about the suspected sale of counterfeit Dasheng masks.

Due to the large amount involved in the case, the Law Enforcement Brigade of the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau promptly reported the situation to the Economic Crime Investigation Brigade of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau and carried out a joint investigation.

On January 11, 2021, after determining the storage location of the counterfeit masks, the Law Enforcement Brigade of the Shanghai Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, together with the Economic Crime Investigation Brigade of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau, conducted a joint inspection of the location and seized the batch of masks in one fell swoop.

According to the current information, the masks were stored at the site in December 2020 and have not yet entered the market. The holders of the masks have been detained by the public security department, and the relevant situation is still under further investigation.

The quality management personnel of Shanghai Dasheng Hygiene Products Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the owner of the "Dasheng" trademark, also rushed to the scene. Wu Yi from the quality control department of Dasheng Company told reporters that this batch of counterfeit masks used almost the same outer packaging as the genuine ones, and also came with a "certificate of conformity" with the company's official seal, which made it difficult for ordinary consumers to distinguish.

In addition, Shanghai Dasheng Sanitary Products Manufacturing Co., Ltd. started using packaging anti-counterfeiting codes in the second half of last year, but this batch of counterfeit masks did not have them on their outer packaging.

It is reported that the current market price of the above-mentioned masks is around 10 yuan per unit. If this batch of masks enters the market, it will cause a loss of more than 5 million yuan to the trademark owner.
