Droom is a Singapore holding company that started with online trading of used cars. Now, its trading categories also include new cars. It has subsidiaries in India and the United States. Currently, Droom's business has covered more than 100 cities in India, with nearly 3 million visitors per month and a market share of 75% in online car trading. Droom has developed an ECO vehicle certification and evaluation system that can classify cars into 10 levels based on historical transaction records, pictures and other documents of the vehicle, while providing users with vehicle inspection services and related reports.

Droom is an online marketplace for buying and selling new and used cars. It has four marketplace formats, including B2C, C2C, C2B, and B2B, and three pricing formats - fixed price, best offer, and auction. The platform covers all categories from bicycles to airplanes and provides all automotive services such as warranty, RSA, insurance, and car loans.

Financing

In August 2015, Droom received a $16 million Series A funding round led by Lightbox Venture Capital.

In June 2016, Droom, an Indian online used car trading platform, announced that it had received Series B financing, with investors mainly including Beenext and Digital Garage.

In July 2017, Droom received a US$20 million Series C funding round led by Integrated Asset Management.

In May 2018, Droom, an Indian vehicle trading platform, received $30 million in Series D funding, led by Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Japanese technology company Digital Garage.

In October 2018, Droom announced the completion of a $30 million Series E financing round, with the investor being the family investment company of Joe Hirao, the founder of Japan's ZIGExN. The funds raised in this round will be used to expand overseas markets and provide more diversified services, making transactions smoother through C2C and C2B models.

In June 2019, Droom received Rs 700 million in Series F pre-IPO financing.
