There is no sunny day on Amazon! Is the account banned again during the peak season? Here is what the appeal boss said...

The Black Friday season is coming, and what sellers fear most is that their accounts will be blocked for no reason at this time...

But it’s so annoying that there are always some “bad times” .

Recently, another seller reported that they received a notification from Amazon that their account was deactivated due to a surge in sales.
Originally, Amazon banning accounts is something that happens occasionally. But what is infuriating this time is that this is the second account of this seller to be banned due to a surge in sales! Moreover, this store was built up step by step without a significant surge in sales, but it was banned just like that. I am speechless.

It is reported that the account has not yet successfully appealed, but the seller has also tried to find an experienced appeal expert in the industry to solve the problem. The expert also expressed that it is difficult because the appeals for sales surges are strictly reviewed, difficult to pass, and the required evidence is complex. Many sellers currently appealing said that they are waiting for information.

In such a situation, sellers may have to wait for a while and see after the peak season is over.
It is worth noting that the account being blocked due to a surge in sales will only occur in FBM sellers’ stores, and this problem will not occur to FBA sellers.

So, how did other sellers who were blocked due to a surge in sales solve the problem?

Some sellers shared that they filed a complaint by sending screenshots of the reply to Amazon, along with the purchase invoice and logistics tracking number showing that the goods had been signed for, etc.

There are also sellers who filed their own complaints, and they provided the order number and wrote it several times before getting it back to the store. There are also sellers who sell epidemic prevention products who shared that as long as they can provide real evidence that corresponds to sales, it is easy to file a complaint.
It can be seen from this that if sellers encounter this type of store closure email, they can try to provide materials themselves to file an appeal.

But we have to say that Amazon’s appeal review is also three-tenths luck-dependent, and there is no foolproof model to follow. However, usually as long as there is sufficient evidence and the wording is clear and standardized, it is relatively easy to pass.

In addition to the surge in sales, some sellers have recently reported receiving email notifications that sales on the Canadian and Mexican sites have been suspended.

The email stated that Amazon discovered that the seller's account was associated with an account that cannot be used to sell products on Amazon's website.
