What is eBay listing? eBay listing review
eBay listing can be understood as uploading product information to the platform. Listing on the eBay platform is very important. When listing , the accuracy of product descriptions, title, attribute settings , etc. will directly affect whether users can search for your title.

1. Publication Content

Categories, titles, attributes, detailed descriptions, images, bids, shipping costs, and returns.

2. Content Introduction

EBay title publishing: Search for listings of sellers with good sales, put their titles in a table, and then filter them according to the characteristics of your own products. The ones that can be filtered out can be used to write titles.

Because our title character limit is 80 characters, we must put important information in the first 35 characters when writing the title. When writing a title, we generally follow a rule: brand + customer rigid requirements + product features + application features + basic needs.

3. Things to note when listing on eBay:

Add category

1. Try to choose the categories recommended by the eBay platform;

2. If the recommended category does not match the actual category of the product, please manually select the category that is closest to and most suitable for the product;

3. Wrong category selection may reduce product exposure.

title

1. Check whether the spelling is correct;

2. The product title has a total of 80 characters. It is recommended to use as many as possible. The subtitle has only 55 characters;

3. According to foreigners' usage habits, it is recommended to capitalize the first letter of nouns or adjectives in the title;

4. Do not enter infringing words;

5. Please do not enter information such as website, email or phone number;

6. Do not use words such as "WOW" or "Look";

7. Do not use multiple synonyms or pluralize nouns.

eBay Image Policy

1. You can list a total of 12 pictures for free on eBay. Each listing must provide at least one product picture and comply with eBay's picture policy standards:

2. The image must be between 500-1600 pixels. The eBay server can accept images up to 7MB. That is, the longest side of the image must be at least 500 pixels, but not more than 1600 pixels. When the image is larger than 800 pixels, it will be zoomed in.

3. The pictures should not contain any promotional or promotional text, nor any borders, shading, or illustrations. The pictures should only show the entire product.

4. Try to use a solid color background so that buyers can see the product clearly. It is recommended not to use a background that is too complex.

5. The product should be clearly displayed in the picture. Blurred pictures are not recommended, especially those that are shaken during shooting.

6. Try to place the product in the middle of the picture, and the size of the product in the picture should occupy 80%-90% of the entire picture;

7. It is best to only put the main body of the product in the picture, and do not put some accessories, so as to avoid misunderstandings by buyers;

8. Use product pictures taken by yourself, please do not steal pictures;

9. Considering that the mobile shopping traffic is very large, the more pictures there are, the easier it is for buyers to have a specific understanding of the product, so please try to make full use of these 12 pictures.

Multiple attribute listing

1. eBay multi-attribute listings can provide different subdivisions of the same item, which is both economical and convenient;

2. If the price difference between the sub-items is large, make sure that the title and sub-items are the same product;

3. All sub-items are of the same product, tradable physical items and the categories are filled in correctly.

Product Attributes

1. Fill in the product attributes truthfully and accurately;

2. Completely fill in the default properties provided by the system.

Product Description

1. Try to avoid complex fonts and too many colors;

2. You can choose to bold the key words;

3. Try to provide detailed product size, parameters and accessories information, and also fill in relevant information such as product instructions, after-sales, FAQs, etc.;

4. Do not make false descriptions;

5. Do not use brand trademarks without permission;

6. Do not write in Chinese, as most buyers are foreigners;

7. Never use dynamic content;

8. Do not embed email or other external links in the description.

4. Duplicate listings on eBay:

If a seller's items listed in multiple listings are not significantly different from each other, or if multiple listings appear in search results for what appear to be the same item, those listings will be considered duplicates.

To prevent your listings from being considered duplicates, make sure to clearly reflect the differences between your listings in title, price, condition, images, subtitles, item attributes, or parts compatibility.

Also, be sure to use relevant item attributes and add product identifiers (if applicable), such as UPC and MPN, to differentiate your items and increase item visibility. eBay may also look at other parts of the seller's listing (such as the item description) to determine whether it is a duplicate listing.
