What is Shopee payment? Shopee payment review
Shopee will transfer the order settlement amount to the seller's account through third-party payment partners such as Payoneer, PingPong or LianLian Pay. Shopee will transfer the payment twice a month, in the middle and at the end of the month. Shopee platform buyers and sellers provide a safe payment environment and payment solutions. Payment cycle: mid-month and end of the month

Basic Situation

Currently, Shopee's payment partners for domestic sellers are Payoneer, PingPong and LianLian. After suppliers in mainland China apply for overseas cross-border accounts, sellers can open Payoneer, PingPong or LianLian payment accounts. After opening stores at various sites, enter the backstage seller center to operate the binding. You can bind a company account or a personal account, but make sure that the payment account can be used normally.

*Note: Sellers who open new stores in 2020 will receive an email automatically sent by the system to activate the sub-account. After activating the sub-account and setting the payment password (wallet password), they can bind the third-party payment in the Seller Center backend.

Shopee Promise

1. Each site on the platform has a complete payment collection plan in the local area;

2. Start payment guarantee and hold the payment in trust. After the transaction is successful, the payment and freight subsidy will be transferred to the seller;

3. Pay the seller through a third-party payment partner;

How to bind

If you already have a Payoneer, Pingong or LianLian Pay account, you can directly bind the account in the Seller Center. The specific steps are as follows:

Log in to the seller backend center, click My Wallet, click the Register/Login button on the Payoneer, PingPong or LianLian Pay card, select 'Already have a Payoneer account', 'I already have a PingPong account, log in and bind now' or 'Already have an account, log in now' in the upper right corner, and then enter the relevant information according to the prompts.

It will take 1-2 days to review the information after it is submitted. After the review is passed, the bound account card icon will show activated (Active), and the seller can use the account normally to receive payments from Shopee.

develop

Starting from June 5, 2019, Lianlian Pay will be added as a payment method in the Shopee Seller Center backend.

FAQ

1. Shopee cross-border seller payment solution

Shopee has launched a third-party payment guarantee to hold the payment for goods in escrow. After a successful transaction, the payment partner Payoneer, PingPong or LianLian Pay will transfer the payment and shipping subsidy to the seller's account.

2. How does the platform make payments?

If the seller has bound a Payoneer, PingPong or LianLian Pay account in the background, the platform will settle the payment for the seller in each cycle through the corresponding third-party payment provider bound by the seller.

3. What is the payment cycle and frequency? Is there a minimum payment amount limit?

Shopee makes payments twice a month, in the middle and at the end of the month, and there is no minimum payment amount limit.

4. What currency is used for settlement at each site on the Shopee platform?

Currently, the payment currency for Singapore site is SGB, the payment currency for Vietnam site is VND, and the payment currency for all other sites is USD;

For payment to the Indonesian site, Payoneer will pay sellers in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) from the first payment cycle in July 2019; PingPong and LianLian Pay will pay sellers in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) from the second payment cycle in June 2019.

5. No payment account has been registered yet

Sellers can register directly in the Seller Center. The specific steps are as follows:

Log in to the seller's backend center, click My Wallet, click the Register/Login button on the Payoneer, PingPong or LianLian Pay card, and the page will jump to the corresponding official website. Sellers can apply for an account by following the prompts.

6. Does the collection account bound to the backend have to be a company account? Can it be bound to a personal account? Can the bound account be changed at any time?

Shopee has no restrictions on the account type for payment accounts bound to the seller’s backend. Both company accounts and personal accounts are acceptable.

Under the condition of ensuring account security, sellers can change the bound account at any time according to their own circumstances.

We need to remind you that in order to improve the security of seller accounts, sellers need an independent password that is different from the store login password when binding or changing a bound account in the background. You need to log in to the seller center with the main account of the sub-account, and then go to [Store Settings >> Update Password >> Payment Password] to set it.

For details, please see "Shopee Parent-child Account System": https://shopee.cn/college/12/21/240

If you don't have a sub-account, you can click here to apply: https://shopee.wjx.cn/jq/46363317.aspx

7. The store has been bound to a Payoneer, PingPong or LianLian Pay account, but it keeps reminding you to bind a bank card (Add Bank Account).

Adding bank cards is only for local sellers on each site, and cross-border sellers do not need to do anything.
