FBW (Fulfillment By Wish) means that merchants only need to send product inventory to the designated FBW warehouse, and then the FBW warehouse will handle order fulfillment for the seller, including sorting, packaging and delivery. About FBW There are two types of overseas warehouses on the market: self-built overseas warehouses and third-party overseas warehouses. FBW certified warehouses are a form of logistics that is jointly provided by Wish and a third-party logistics company. Wish's officially certified third-party overseas warehouses include: FBW-US, FBW-EU and FBW-CN (FBW-US American certified warehouse built in cooperation with Zebra Warehouse, FBW-EU European warehouse built in cooperation with SF Express, and FBW-CN warehouse built in cooperation with well-known warehousing operators in the industry). The current acceptable product weight for FBW EU is less than 2kg. The free warehouse usage period is only 90 days. After 90 days, the seller needs to pay the warehouse usage cost. Advantages of FBW Certified Warehouse 1. 3 times and more traffic. 2. As a level 1 logistics method, it features differentiated identification display at the front and faster settlement time. 3. Help merchants focus on their core value operations and solve logistics problems without any worries. 4. No WE review period is required, and you can join the Wish overseas warehouse project more quickly and directly. 5. Order delivery delays caused by logistics are exempted and still guaranteed within the Wish Express program. 6. Accounts that have been kicked out 5 times can still participate in the overseas warehouse project through the FBW project. 7. Order fulfillment and transportation are completely handled by FBW certified warehouses. 8. More efficient use of funds. The operating fees and final shipping costs in overseas certified warehouses will be deducted from the Wish merchant account. 9. Goods in bonded warehouses can be shipped back to China more conveniently (applicable to FBW-EU). 10. Merchants do not have to worry about paying European VAT, and users are responsible for the payment (applicable to FBW-EU). Documents required for applying for FBW Merchants who are willing and confirmed to be certified warehouses please send an email to the account manager and provide the following information: 1. Fill out the FBW application form. Merchants who do not have an account manager and have completed the above application information can send an English email to the following email address to apply for FBW overseas warehouse. FBW contact email address: [email protected], which can be used for merchants who do not have a Wish account manager to apply for FBW, and can also be used to consult Wish Express related questions. FBW Application Steps first step: To apply for FBW online, please log in to your merchant account at merchant.wish.com, find the FBW checkbox on the homepage, and click "Join FBW Now" to start the application process. Step 2: Specify whether the account is a "personal" account or a "corporate" account. Personal accounts must upload the merchant ID card. Corporate accounts must upload the business license and legal person ID card. Step 3: Select a FBW warehouse, either FBW US or FBW EU, or both. Then submit the relevant tax documents based on the selected warehouse. If you apply for FBW US or select both FBW US and FBW EU: ● Individual accounts (U.S. taxpayers) need to fill out and upload the W-9 document. Individual accounts (non-U.S. taxpayers) need to fill out and upload the W-8BEN document (the following is a template). ● Corporate accounts (U.S. taxpayers) need to fill out and upload the W-9 document. Corporate accounts (non-U.S. taxpayers) need to fill out and upload the W-8BEN-E document (the following is a template). If you only apply for FBW EU: ● No need to upload any tax related documents. Step 4: After submitting your merchant identification and tax documents, you need to submit your FBW application to Wish. If your documents are incomplete or filled out incorrectly, the platform will inform you of the feedback. Step 5: Once the application is submitted and approved, merchants can create a shipping plan to ship products to FBW's US and European warehouses. To create a shipping plan, select the New FBW Shipping Plan option in the FBW menu. FBW product selection suggestions 1. Best-selling products: Products that have historically had high sales and are in strong demand among Wish users. 2. Slightly higher priced products: recommended price is above US$10. 3. Non-seasonal products: Products with global appeal, preferably not affected by seasonal changes. 4. Actual weight: FBW-US warehouse: Please do not send SKUs weighing more than 20 kg (44 lbs). If you have any questions about this, please contact [email protected]. If you have information about product sales, you can safely ship more products to the warehouse. Please remember that the free storage period of the warehouse is only 90 days. After 90 days, you will bear all storage costs. 5. Inventory quantity: Based on historical sales data, we recommend preparing 20-100 units of inventory for each SKU of FBW in the initial stage. 6. Packaging requirements: Each item must be pre-packaged (according to the actual packaging standards for delivery to users). The size of each package must be at least 4 x 6 inches. If the package is too small to be affixed to the logistics label, you will be charged a repackaging fee ($1/package). You can put different products in the same package, but the contents of the package must belong to the same shipping plan. Example: A shirt has two SKUs (blue, yellow). The number of blue SKUs is 20 and the number of yellow SKUs is 10. The blue SKU requires 20 separate packages and the yellow SKU requires 10 separate packages. The size of each package must be at least 4 x 6 inches to facilitate the affixing of the logistics label. Shirts should be packed by color; if they all belong to the same shipping plan, all shirts can be placed in the same package. Development History -FBW is an overseas warehouse project launched by Wish and Guangzhou Export Easy in 2015. It only has warehouses in three cities in the United States: New Jersey, San Francisco and Ontario. The goal is to deliver goods to the entire United States within 2-4 days. -In June 2017, FBW's US warehouse was opened for trial operation, with warehouses in Los Angeles and Chicago. -In September 2017, Wish announced the FBW-CN plan at the Fall Seller Summit. FBW-CN refers to the domestic warehouse. |
