Amazon's delivery policy has changed! The delivery/replenishment function will be discontinued from September 1st

Amazon has announced in the US, European and Japanese sites that it will officially stop using the existing "ship/replenish" process on September 1 and start a new process called "Send to Amazon".

We sellers have always used the "Send/Replenish" function. This process is relatively complicated. From selecting the shipping ASIN to creating the shipment, it is divided into several steps, and the entire creation process requires jumping to several pages. The new creation replenishment shipment process Send to Amazon simplifies the creation process, and all steps can be completed on the same page.

In addition, the new function has added the original packaging template function. If you ship directly using original packaging, you can create a template and select it with one click, without having to fill in the quantity and box item information every time, saving a lot of time and workload.

Then another change is that the shipment number will be officially created and the shipping destination FBA warehouse will be automatically assigned after the entire process is completed. This is beneficial for sellers. If there is an error in the quantity when packing the products, they can correct the difference before completing the creation. If the quantity is not large, most sellers will choose to ignore the difference and send it to the FBA warehouse, and correct the quantity when putting it on the shelf.

Switching plan for new and old processes

Currently, the "Send to Amazon" function has completely replaced the old "Ship/Replenish" process. If the seller chooses to replenish inventory or other options to create a shipment on the inventory page, it will automatically jump to the "Send to Amazon" process. Before September 1, sellers can switch to the old process if they still want to use it, but starting from September 1, they can no longer use the old process and can only use the "Send to Amazon" process.

There is one point to note that all shipments created using the old "ship/replenish" process are also time-limited. The deadline given by Amazon is November 30th. Shipment plans that have been created before this day can still be edited and processed.

Due to shipping restrictions, many sellers are now used to creating many plans in advance and not shipping until they need to restock. After November 30, Amazon is expected to shut down all shipment plans created using the old process, and the backup plans that sellers have built may be ruined. Sellers who are used to building plans in advance can now use the new version of the "Send to Amazon" process to create shipping plans to avoid having their shipments canceled by Amazon after the deadline.
