2. Stamp prices for letters and postcards

Stamps for standard-sized letters and standard-sized postcards up to 1 ounce start at $1.20 for all countries. However, postage for envelopes weighing more than 1 ounce, oversized or irregularly shaped envelopes depends on the price group of the destination country.

3. Weight, size and shape requirements

1. The maximum weight of mail sent is 15.994 ounces.

2. All postcards and envelopes (or flat envelopes) must be rectangular, otherwise a surcharge will be charged. There will be other size restrictions depending on the type of mail you are sending.

4. Larger mail and envelopes require additional fees

If a piece exceeds the maximum length, height, or thickness for one rate, it will be charged the next rate. Large envelopes that exceed the maximum dimensions will be charged the package rate. Use the International Price Calculator to estimate shipping costs for international shipments.
