eBay sellers are trying out the beta version! Etsy's new payment splitting service meets sellers' payment splitting gap!

Seller Ledger has added support for Etsy sellers. Designed specifically for marketplace sellers, the ledger service launched in beta for eBay sellers earlier this year. Etsy introduced the new tool last month, and since then, Seller Ledger has also turned on billing capabilities.

Online sellers have been desperate for a new tool to split their payments after Go Daddy last year discontinued the popular program it acquired from Outright in 2012.

Kevin Reeth co-founded Outright in 2008 and told Ecommerce Bytes last month that he was eager to offer an alternative after learning about GoDaddy Bookkeeping's closure, saying his goal was to help sellers who had fallen on hard times last year.

Reeth also said that he was pleasantly surprised by how many people switched to paid plans, despite SellerLedger giving everyone an additional 30 days to continue evaluating the product.

It is learned that on April 18, a post on SellerLedger explained how Etsy sellers can use the tool and promote it to others who are also looking for an alternative to GoDaddy's accounting tool, which shows the demand for this new tool.
