Steps to Complain Copyright Infringement on Amazon

Steps to Complain Copyright Infringement on Amazon

Amazon is a platform that respects intellectual property rights. If you find someone copying your products, stealing images, or misappropriating trademarks without authorization, please take action immediately to protect your rights. Of course, filing a complaint is a technical job. Without good complaint skills, Amazon will often ruthlessly reject your complaint.

To successfully file a complaint, you need to do the following:
  • Register the brand and file it at the beginning of sales, and provide the trademark registration number.
  • Upload your own brand logo packaging and brand logo details on the product to the picture to prove that the brand is in use.
  • Send a warning letter to the infringing seller (if it is not a malicious follow-selling, the follow-seller will most likely remove the product on his own, which can effectively solve about 70% of the follow-selling problems). If the negotiation process is not smooth, you can take a screenshot of the page to leave evidence for subsequent complaints.

STEP 1: Search for "intellectual property infringement" in the universal search box on the seller's backend

Click "Report Intellectual Property Violation".
