United States: December 22 to January 5

Canada: Officially, it is half a day from December 24 to December 28. In fact, it extends to January 4.

Mexico: December 22 to January 5

United Kingdom: December 24 to January 5

France: December 23 to January 5

Germany: From noon on December 24 to 26 and from 29 to 2.

Italy: December 18 to January 4

Spain: December 23 to January 6

Japan: No holiday for Christmas, December 23 is a national holiday for birthday, and the New Year holiday is from December 28 to January 4

This explains why sales at European and American sites have dropped sharply since the 22nd, while Japan has not been affected!
When most of Amazon's mainstream European, American and Japanese sites are closed until around January 5, 2022, our store operation strategy and rhythm will also need to change accordingly.
1. Cancel holiday flash sales
During this period, buyers’ focus is definitely not on shopping. Both BD and LD are charged, and the conversion rate and traffic during this period will be very low. It is very uneconomical to sign up for flash sales, and there is no need to waste hundreds of dollars in registration fees.
2. Adjust advertising budget and CPC bidding appropriately
It is recommended to shut down the ad groups with high acos first. In the ad groups with low acos, lower the bids for keywords with poor conversion. This is also a very normal operation rhythm.
3. Clear out unsaleable inventory quickly
Various operating expenses in 2023 have skyrocketed. Starting from January 17, 2023, even the familiar removal order fee has doubled, from the familiar US$0.32 to US$0.75, or even more than US$1.
If you have any unsaleable products during this period , please clear them out now, immediately, otherwise you will feel the pain of abandoning the orders after January 18th!
4. After the peak traffic, returns will come in large numbers
During this period, please pay more attention to the content of "Buyer's Voice" in the background. If there are too many product returns, the listing will be at risk of being suspended.
