Recently, Amazon released 2 new announcements for brand sellers! Amazon Releases New Brand Registry Process On October 7, Amazon updated the requirements for the brand registration process. The following three points were clearly stated 1. If you are a brand owner, you need to provide at least one image showing your brand name, logo, or other identifying mark on the product or packaging. 2. You also need to provide at least one ASIN for each product category in which you sell the brand. 3. For brands that do not sell on Amazon, you can choose to report the product classification yourself instead of providing ASIN. Why Use Amazon Brand Registry? Generally speaking, Amazon will give certain privileges to sellers who have completed brand registration, such as: If you encounter trademark abuse, copyright plagiarism, or patent infringement, you can "lock" the product detail page suspected of violation (to prevent the other party from changing it) and then report it to Amazon. 2. Use of listing privilege tools A+ Content, which is an enhanced version of text and picture description, can only be used by sellers who have completed brand registration. 4. Add product videos to the listing page. 5. Participate in Amazon Vine Program Sellers can bundle multiple product ASINs together for sale. 7. Use exclusive marketing tools for Amazon brand sellers Including Brand Dashboard, Brand Analytics, Manage My Experiments (testing A+ content effects), Amazon Attribution, etc. In a word, for sellers who have completed brand registration, Amazon can easily deal with various operational issues. Of course, some sellers have raised questions about the update of Amazon Brand Registry. In the future, there is no need to register a trademark. As long as the above documents can be provided, can brand registration be completed on the platform? I hope it will be as the seller predicted. Amazon launches "virtual bundles" feature Recently, Amazon launched the "virtual bundle product" feature for brand owners. If you are a brand owner, you can now create virtual bundles using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) ASINs to help you increase sales. With the new Virtual Bundle tool, you can create a new bundle detail page that lets customers purchase complementary items together at a discounted price. Bundles can use your existing FBA inventory without requiring any changes to your inbound FBA shipment. It's free to create virtual bundles, but standard selling and FBA fees apply. From the announcement we can see: 1. As long as our products meet the requirements of having brand registration on Amazon and having inventory in the FBA warehouse, we can use the "Virtual Bundle Product" function to create virtual bundle products for free. 2. For bundled products, you can not only create an A+ page separately to introduce the combination sales of the products; you can also participate in flash sales and use brand advertising to promote them. Therefore, through bundling, not only can you drive sales of multiple products in your store and increase sales, but you can also maximize profits through competitive pricing. Of course, there are some drawbacks to virtual bundling. For complementary products, such as a mouse and keyboard, a teapot and teacup, or a spatula and pot, bundling is attractive. But the reality is that most sellers do not sell non-matching products. Take T-shirts for example. Everyone knows that they can be paired with jeans, but customers who buy T-shirts usually just buy the T-shirts and not the pants you pair them with. This makes bundling seem useless. But no matter what, Amazon launched this feature with good intentions, and it will definitely bring a lot of convenience to some eligible sellers.
